I think maybe there are a few people around under 40 that do. I think it is probably dying out though because I know I can type as fast as someone talks. I do it all the time.

Well, I'm 32 and I've heard of it, and even seen a few examples. I know less about shorthand than about the slide rule. Thank goodness for digital recorders and calculators.
Does the "shorthand" for a Palm Pilot count?
I learned it in high school, never used it, and can't remember a thing about it now! Am I aging myself? (41)
.....shorthand is just another outdated language.......
.......music is called the "universal language".....it is highly complex....particularly with playing a keyboard called the organ - in which one uses both hands and both feet - utilizing both sides of the brain.
...takes bunches of smarts!
