Panoramic, Zoom In, Photo Of Inauguration

Really cool.

Link.

And from the Inaugural Address, there is the mention of gay rights:

"It is now our generation’s task to carry on what those pioneers began. For our journey is not complete until our wives, our mothers, and daughters can earn a living equal to their efforts. Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law, for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well."

Hey look I see a wookie! No, wait it is a Bigfoot Monster. No, wait it is the First Lady. Back to your naps folks, move along nothing to see here.

At least they got a couple of names right.

Well, if the President said it, it must be true. You know, like Clinton saying he never had sex with that woman.

During the inauguration, Obama swore to uphold the constitution. There's the first lie of the 2nd term.

This has been a beautiful, uplifting day.
To those of you who can't respect and treasure what this day - Inaugural Day - is to our democracy - you are luckier than you deserve to live here.

2:09...He meant he was going to uphold it with one hand, while tearing it to shreads with the other. He supports the rights of criminals, baby killers, lazies and illegal immigrants....you know, his base.

Funny that the real mistake with Romney's 47% gaffe, was that he just underestimated that number, not that he said it!!! Obama had a better read on this number at 51-52%. Face it, Obama just new that we were becomming a nation that would trade freedom for entitlements. It will forever be this way. A non-autocratic socialist government is what we are today and that will never change. We will become more socialist in nature and more autocratic in years to come. I would venture to say the majority that voted for Obama would want him to continue for a 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th term....maybe even until his death. We will see a push for increased presidential term limits in the next two years.

2:29, Now can we see your speech you prepared if Romney got elected?

To 2:29. Well said!

To The Devil: You lost...get over it...You should have worked harder to turn out YOUR base.

CD

Last time I checked it was Romney who lost, but oh well. We all lost, you just cannot see it yet. My BASE cannot ever win another election because of demographics, indoctrination and media bias and you know it. In previous elections 2:29's sentiments would have been spot on, but no longer pal, the world has changed.

Wasn't Auma Obammy supposed to have been deported? They probably moved her into the White House with Moochelle's mammy and we are now supporting her. SHEESH

Negrahs move into gubmint jobs to trade one form of welfare for another. They view the government jobs as entitlements that not only pay more with about the same qualification requirements and they're more stable.

My back is tired from carrying the darkies with a lifetime of my taxed labor.

It's revealing that no one has posted a reasonable response to what The Devil has posted here. I fear his opinions regarding the future of this country, while sad, are true.

What many on this blog, like Devil and WK, don't realize is that much of the rest of the country is much more realistic and hopeful than the Wise Co rednecks. The country is not crumbling. Social Security is fully funded for at least another 30 years. Our reputation around the world and our economy is recovering from the the deplorable Bush years. Much left to accomplish but this administration is making progress.

Yay! Gay rights is now bland enough that it can be mentioned in content-less inaugural addresses!

How does a gay gene get passed on? How did it know to lie patiently in the human body for millenia only to burst forth and emerge in coincedence with the advent of modern telecommunications? It's an amazing little bugger.

Sorry, I skip comments by Devil and WK. As Shakespeare said about them, "__full of sound and fury, signifying nothing".

I wish he had continued something like: "Our journey is not complete until our society no longer places those who choose to work and produce into the bondage of serfdom for those who will not produce. The law must treat equally those who work and those who choose to not work."
