Edit: Hearing a report the guy might have been a Fed Ex driver who was involved in a weird lawsuit last year where a motorcyclist's family sued him after the motorcyclist died after crashing into him.

Facebook threat to a Carson employee and apparently a child. I would guess domestic dispute.
"Hope police make an example of the idiot who threatened the teacher!"
Yeah, let's put cops in schools, grocery stores, malls, movie theaters, and Chuck E Cheese. Let's just go ahead and help them make this country police governed.
All this kid needs is a good old country ass-whoopin behind the woodshed. Prollem With threatening--solved.
Wise County Messenger Here is what's posted on our website: CARSON ELEMENTARY, DHS ON LOCKDOWN -- Decatur Police and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers were posted at the entrances to Carson Elementary and Decatur High School Tuesday morning after both campuses were placed on lockdown due to a threat against a Carson employee. Police were alerted to the threat posted on Facebook, and contacted DISD officials Tuesday morning. An automated call to parents with students at those campuses went out shortly after 8:30 a.m., and within a few minutes some parents were up at the school to pick up their children. Superintendent Rod Townsend encouraged parents to "let us do our job," noting that "security is the top priority here." Townsend said both the employee and a child who is a student at the high school are in a safe location. The plan at this point is to keep the campuses under lockdown with heavy security until the suspect has been located. "We're going to stay on lockdown until we know the safety and security of everyone's children is not an issue."
9:48, it is an adult who made this threat, not a kid! Supposedly police are tracking him down, and he is possibly at the Bridgeport airport. Anyone out that way see police activity there?
Wise County Messenger: A SWAT team and other law enforcement officials have a home surrounded in Bridgeport Airport Estates. The man who made the threats, which prompted the school lock down in Decatur, is believed to be inside.
Looked like every law enforcement officer in the county were at the entrance to Brideport Airport Estates this morning around 8:45. Ambulances, the new Mobile Command Center vehicle, the B'port swat truck and probably 20 sheriff/police vehicles.
You're really doing a great job of keeping your readers updated here, Barry. NOT!!
post from fb: Threat has passed and the man has been taken into custody. It's weird how many people know this man, and how unstable he already was!
See there! THAT's the issue! People already knew this jerk is unstable? Bring back insane asylums and put people like this in them! I don't care who knows him, who he's friends with or who his family is. The guy is nuts and violent! So was the guy in Conneticut! GET IT?
I have a name for the perp for the lockdown. Jimmy Warden..found on a facebook page of a comment on Messenger. He has lots of friends already defending him. He is a soon to be ex, who is very upset...poor guy, I understand he never threatened to kill many people, maybe just his ex....I say crime of passion.
"You're a animal. You honestly have no idea what he or my family was going through. Do you actually think he would kill 200 people? Is this average day working man going to turn into some super killing machine, with all these weapons and explosives he has?"
um, this guy has all these weapons and explosives and is making threats to kill a lot of people and we're supposed to feel sorry for him?
No, I'm just thankful he was taken into custody BEFORE something terrible happened! Thank God his threats were seen and heard and law enforcement took action immediately. People, you may know this man and feel sorry for his family situation, but do you want another Sandy Hook here? Give this "feel sorry for him" a rest, please!
He needs to be locked up for a long time! He is obviously a severe threat to society and he thankfully did put out a warning (cry for help?) that was taken seriously!
10:42, Adam Lanza's spree could also be described as a crime of passion, right? Anything that upsets someone to the point they threaten death to another is something they are obviously very passionate about.
"It's weird how many people know this man, and how unstable he already was!"
"Lock this guy up and leave him there!"
"People already knew this jerk is unstable? Bring back insane asylums and put people like this in them!"
Wow, what nice things to say about someone. I don't know this man, but I do know those type of comments are the #1 reason I didn't get treatment with my particular mental illness for years . It's not like anybody asks for mental ilness, and it dosen't descriminate. It's a lifelong battle in most cases, and the stigma associated with mental illness is the equivalent of social suicide. 40% of people surveyed said they would not want to work with someone with mental ilness, and 60% said they would not date someone with mental illness.
Thank you so much for expressing your obviously overwhelming ignorance.
Sincerely, a Disorganized Schizoactive Disorder patient.
11:44, welcome to the real world of "we're not going to take it anymore!"
I'm sorry if you're sick but I'd be the first to lock you up as well if you threatened the lives of others, especially if it were the lives of children in schools! How DARE you or anyone else defend him in the name of mental illness as though we should all excuse him because of that!
If you're not receiving medication for your illness then maybe you should be because it is not those who are upset with this man who are the ignorant ones, but they are those who live in fear of the fact that we have seen too many mentally unstable people take the lives of the innocent.
Schools have an absolute ZERO TOLERANCE for threats against their employees or students. ZERO! That means the mentally unstable are not exempt and that's just as it should be.
Maybe this man would be in better shape if he was on medication for his instability and wouldn't have lost it to the point of threatening people. Maybe you better think about that if you're too ashamed to get help yourself.
Like I said, ignorant. Most mental illness patients are very non-confrontational, and peaceful. Look at the stats. I guarranty if you had a family member that faced this, you would see it differently. The facts are mental illness is grossly misunderstood, and difficult deal with or to understand.
Oh I do have family members who are dealing with their own mental issues and they have received medication and treatment just so they can cope. You can refer to me as an asshole all you want, but when someone starts threatening another Newtown and my family could be victims of that threat, whether carried out or not, well, that breaks all compassion! Sounds like you all feel sorrier for the Newtown shooter than you do for his victims!
I am not compelled to feel sorry or have compassion for anyone who threatens the life of another, especially children! The fact they even verbalize such a threat is enough to suspect insanity and if they have weapons about them that would help them to carry out that threat, then the LAW will take that threat seriously - mentally unstable or not!
If you are friends with this guy who wrote this threat, then it is up to you, his family and friends, to get him help. I happen to be the parent of school kids involved in this soft lock down that occurred because of his threats! I don't feel sorry for him - I want him locked away!
And for the record, it was THIS MAN who caused his own family this emotional turmoil. It is not the fault of anyone else but him. Put the blame where is lies.
If you have mental disorders, then get treated for them before you end up on the wrong end of a conversation or news event such as the one that occurred today. My family members certainly have, and they lead very good lives because of it.
And before you get all riled up saying we are discriminating against the mentally impaired, remember that anyone can snap at anytime. It's just those who have the warning of a mental issue are lucky enough to know that and seek treatment before they might snap.
"It's just those who have the warning of a mental issue are lucky enough to know that and seek treatment before they might snap."
Ignorance= ASSuming that some are aware of their illness, when ACTUALLY most don't have any idea something is wrong. I feel sorry for the ill people in your family.
What you said is just about as intelligent as saying "well, fix it".
Jesus, I'm lucky to not live in this backwards assed county. Plese stay in your white trash county, and for the love of God, please do not breed (includes daughter and cousin).
1:48, are you saying that getting treatment and medication doesn't "fix" mental problems?
Wow! Thank you for your stupidity! Wonder how many you know don't go for treatment because you say it won't "fix" anything?
Sorry, society isn't giving a "get out of jail free" card to anyone because they have mental illness. I have a nephew who knows this all too well. Know why he is incarcerated? Because he wouldn't take his medications and his mental illness "caused" him to do some very bad no-nos.
Are you saying we just need to allow these people to do their no-nos in society because they are ill? If that isn't what you are saying, that just what is it? What would you be saying about this event today if it had turned into another Newtown?
You're a total ididot. Mental illness cannot "fix" itself with medication. All the medication does is help alleviate the symptoms, the illness is still there. Do us all a favor and educate yourself on mental illness before you spout out your theories to "fix" mental illness.
I wasn't the one who used the word, "fix", you were! What the hell does the medication do for you then? Repair? Smooth over? Control? Alleviate? WHATEVER word it is that you choose to use, those who are medicated can cope and do live much more of a normal life. I happen to be quite educated on mental illness, evidently much more than you if you're saying NOT TO MEDICATE!
Obviously you have found in one day, the answer to mental illness that has eluded doctors for hundreds of years. Congrats. We are all wiser because of you.
I'll be sure to "fix" myself before I go to bed tonight.
Seriously 3:44? I believe you just completely lost this debate. Medicating mental illness has been occurring for eons. I'm with 3:44 and believe maybe you need to seek some medical advise if you are trying to cope with a mental disability.
Jimmy Warden shared the following link and had this to say about it:
I've broken my silence to say I'm going to Laredo after I take care of a little business. Deadly business. I need 100 black coffins for you sorry sons of bitches who claim to be my friends. Fuck all of y'all. When you see me coming you best run like a dog. It breaks my heart, but the world has forced this on me. Again I hope you all go to hell. You should've been loyal. I'm done on this earth you fucking scumbags! Thank you for your sorry ass friendship. Perhaps if I had y'all instead of you being friends with her I could have made it. But none of you gave a fuck . She is a whore and I can only imagine that if you're friends with her you're looking to fuck her. Go ahead, I won't be here to stop you. You sorry motherfuckers can all go to hell where I'm probably going to go for that I'm about to do. Y'all shouldn't have screwed me like this.
Oh my gosh! Stop the bullying of the gays! This is what happens!
Guns are only good for one thing and I do not know what that one thing is. Oh wait! I remember -- they're good for shooting cult members like the you-know-whos down in Waco.
I do have empathy for the family. I did stop to imagine myself in their shoes. However, before friends of the family get too upset, they need to remember, the threat was picked up on FACEBOOK. The police are treating the situation exactly as the public would expect them to, especially in the light of recent horrific events. I would say threatening any school employeee would be a real (for lack of better word) STUPID thing to do on a public forum as fb any time (mental or not) but especially at this juncture in time. My child goes to Carson. The woman threatened was her teacher last year- So- I am pleased with the reaction of our police and grateful for our school district. I have all the respect for the families privacy in the world, but I have more respect for the right of my child to be safe.
It is a sad deal all the way around, but thankfully this man provided a warning, whether that was stupid or a involuntary cry for help, and was stopped.
Good grief! If that threat isn't real enough for people to GET why this guy needs to be locked up, then I don't know what kind of threat they're waiting for. Thank you law enforcement for doing your job and doing it very well! I believe his family will see much relief in the days to come when they realize he will get help and they don't have to deal with his issues any longer.
11:37, what the hell does that mean? Nothing wrong with 9:32s post unless maybe you're Warden's brother. You know, the man made a threat to kill people and you morons want to take up for him? curse people who are infuriated by his threats and tell us all what a really good guy this idiot is? Newsflash:
HE IS NOT A GOOD MAN! HE WILL PAY FOR HIS THREATS WITH TIME IN JAIL! HIS FAMILY IS BETTER OFF WITH HIM PUT AWAY!
