"More people voted for Edwards than voted on the office, for or against."

Proof once again that straight ticket voters are ignorant and lazy.

Yep, that's how precinct 1 ended up with Tom Bishop as their constable in last election.

I would like to see the Messenger take an investigative look inti the whole Hospital finance thing to determine who paid what costs, who lost their shirts, and who made money on this mess!

It appears at this point that Bridgepot taxpayers appear to have paid the costs, incurred the losses, and will lose more before this ends. The Doctos investing in the hospital seem to have come out smelling like roses!

What are the facts or is this thing being covered up to protect the wealthy benefactors!

I thought it was absolutely horrible that the messenger and the update wrote about the Alvord coach who commited suicide. That wasn't "news" that was a personal family matter!!!!

6:28 - should have been at the WRHS board meeting Monday night to get the scoop. There's not any cover up going on. Any filings going through the Bankruptcy Court will be public record as well if you want to dig through it.

And...the Bridgeport taxpayers are not the bondholders.

The story is not the bankruptcy but instead where did the money flow since the boondoggle began. Who made money on this deal prior to the closing of the books! That is the real story!

Wise Regional is the benefactor. Of the bankruptcy and not the cause. They are scoring a deserved deal it is those doctors that created this mess that walked away and left Bridgeport taxpayers holding the bag and financially supporting the obsess and grateful that Wise Regional is willing to help cut our losses. Where did all that money go since the opening?
