While growing up in a neighboring state road blocks were common place.

Sometimes the cops would get smart and set up a fake road block on the interstate. All the people who had something to hide would quickly exit on the previous off-ramp only to be pulled over.

Had you driven through the road block you would have have seen two empty cop cars with their lights on.

This blog ain't no fun fun since I quit bath salts.

11:00, Every bath salt you ever used was delivered by a truck and a trucker!

they are just trying to get all the weed off the streets..

Yeah ~~~
We are held to higher standards and always put to blame, however how about a 72 hour crack down on the four wheelers..... I don't mind going thru a road check I do mind that we a treated a l o t different and held to higher standard then all others, but with out us who scarfice our family time to get the load there on time, all for you the consumers who whine and complains constantly~~ I say lets see how many four wheelers can or would even pass one

Coming from an idiot in a turkey suit.....

1:20....maybe you are held to a higher standard because the vehicle you drive weighs 80,000lbs.Dumbass...you want to be called a professional and paid like a professional, act like one and maintain your vehicle.

i hope they get all the bad truckers off the road forever. i hate truckers, especially rock truck drivers, they think they own the road.

Rex Kramer said...

that is not a turkey suit, that is a seven foot inflatable turkey. Obviously two things have just happened. 1:You have resorted to name calling because you think calling someone a trucker is an insult. 2: You are obviously one of those self loathing trucker types. It's o.k., at least you aren't a democrat.

You must want to rant and rave against the truck driver , You seem to over look the part of me stating I DON"T MIND THE INSPECTIONS, However How many of you would be put off the road and licencse suspended if you were held to the same standards~~~ Haha and Yes idiot I am a truck driver right here in the county, and take my job and equipment more serious then most of you take running bald tires or doing ten million things like talking on the damn cell phone does, I do hold my employer to keeping my truck 1 safe, 2 legal, do you ask yourself those questions before you turn the key everytime, bet not~~~ From a professional driver

Doesn't it bother any of you small government types that Law Enforcement can pull someone over just because they are driving a certain type of motor vehicle without having probable cause to believe there is a violation occurring?

It is as horrible as your activist Court of Criminal Appeals ruling that a boater can be pulled over for no reason under the guise of "inspection".

More "hands off" Republican Government! Typical dumbass posters dont realize that half the Durham school buses are unsafe and want to blame the poor driver, instead of the foreign owned company that refuses to fix them. Remember the carbon monoxide poisoning incident at a durham bus at Northwest?

@anon 3:55 super trucker.

So the blame game starts? You want 4 wheelers to be responsible for themselves, but you don't want to take responsibility for the equipment you are entrusted to?

Hmmm...Ok, seems like the DPS will make sure you or your employer are keeping things up since it's always someone else's fault....

The "driver" is never at fault, Right? Just the employer....

Keep on keeping on "professional" Hammer down...

Pretty sure you do it for the paycheck.

I have driven on 287 between Decatur & Bridgeport. Those rock haulers are doing at least 90 mph. When heading west, I turn left not too long after the new light. The haulers think that they own that lane. Guess what??? When you are turning left, you must be in the left lane. I have gotten up to 85 mph to keep from being rear-ended by these road bullies. Not too long ago, one lovely truck driver laid on his horn & gave me the finger as he passed me.
