He's A Jerk Dallas Lawyer Even Before He's A Dallas Lawyer

"Do I look like a guy that requires the world to bow to me? Why, yes. Yes I do."
Kids today. That's some guy from SMU who's enrolled in law school but just got kicked out of the school's simultaneous MBA program before it even started. This email thread circulating around the Internets explains why.

This guy's problem is that he moved away from his core competencies and personal strengths. Clearly the guy is a certified a%*hole and therefore should stay with the remainders of the a*^holes on campus. In that way he can join his fellow a*#holes in their chosen profession in real world, namely the legal profession. I predict this guy will be a wildly successful divorce lawyer and add the world's misery in a most profound way.

Sounds like a perfect czar for King Obama to me!

What's the problem here? He is acting like every other egotistical, self righteous, "I know everything", yeah me lawyer out there.

As for 1:16's comment "Clearly the guy is a certified a%*hole and therefore should stay with the remainders of the a*^holes on campus.", he/she is EXACTLY right. All of the JD students are preciously that.... A holes.

Well I worked in the office of the MBA program at UT Dallas for a couple of years and this guy's attitude is about perfect for an MBA program.

We had a kid with no real world experience who worked at Sabre for his internship and felt the need to walk in and tell them what was wrong with their company and how he could fix it within his first week! Can you imagine being that big an idiot....needless to say he got sidelined for the rest of the semester.

Thanks again as in the past for WASTING the five minutes of my life that it took to read this lawyer wetdream fantasy (I can hear you guys squealing like school girls as you read the responses back and forth to each other).

Jonathan Eakman will graduate law school, eventually pass the BAR, and either gain employment with a federal agency or be elected to some state or federal political position. He's no different than 98% of politicians or upper level federal employees we've had for the last 60 years. I can understand your pain and disapointment at not being in the same club.

maybe he can join the other douche bag a&%holes that surround the Wise County Courthouse...... he will fit right in.

He's white, so it's not a problem to boot him. If black, no matter how he handled himself, Al Sharpton would be on a plane to Dallas.

Good grief! Just as any other profession there are good and bad...but, clearly, this guy is just a premiere BRAT. "Spare the rod and spoil the child," comes to mind. Lawyers are a respected venue. Just some people cannot be respected, regardless of the profession in which they practice.

For a minute I thought I was reading the transcript of Cheney's memoir. Reminded me of the same brand of blind arrogance, expect without the whole shooting his "friend" in the face stuff and then slinking off.

Typical Republicant.

How in the world do people bring politics, race and the attitudes of people at the Wise County Courthouse into this discussion.

One-track simpletons abound here Barry.

But thanks for the link. That was a very funny series of messages. That kid thinks he is so smart but he has not an ounce of wisdom.

Some people just look like jerks, ya know? And he definitely looks like one! I love it when people who mistreat other people get theirs...
