Football Mind Bursts

"Hook 'em"
"I wish I knew how to quit you!"
"Does it hurt when I do this?"
  • Baylor is horrible. (Lost to Iowa State). Triple horrible. One of these days I'm just going to give up.
  • A&M may be worse getting steam rolled, 62-14, by a pitiful Kansas State team. That may be one of their worst losses ever.
  • I think Tech, now what their wheels are on, could beat Texas if they played again.
  • OU turns over the ball five times and Texas just wins by three points?
  • The "point to the sky" gesture has become tiresome.
  • SMU is 3-3 but could easily be 5-1 and a win away from bowl-eligibility. The Mustangs held second-half leads against Washington State and Navy (last night) and then lost in overtime in both games.
  • I'm not sure I've ever seen a year like this where there is not team that seems like that dominating monster. (Florida, Alabama and Texas look like they could be beat easily).
  • I always refuse believe the hype about TCU because they couldn't get through the Big 12 without three loses.
  • A Connecticut player was stabbed to death after its game.

Your envy of the Longhorns and Horned Frogs is not very becoming. Also, your hot sports opinions seem to be wrong more often than right. I haven't kept score but that is the way it seems to me. Your theory of whether TCU could get through the Big 12 since those schools will not schedule them. Which 3 teams would beat them this year? There is no doubt TCU is more deserving of a spot in the Big 12 than Baylor. Maybe Baylor should petition to join UNT's conference.

Obammy needs to appoint a black on black violence czar. Preferably one that is not a communist or a raging homosexual radical.

Sorry....meant to say the theory is tough to prove in the first post above.

I believe you said it all. Any of these anti-Texas haters are all just sour grapes because they don't have enough sense to get behind a team that is worthy of winning. That isn't our fault, just make better choices Barry!

Hook 'em Horns!

and ou STILL SUCKS!!!!!

I think the friendship between McCoy and Bradford is impressive. Any time I read about either one of them, they appear to be great sports and even greater people.

It's heart warming to see that.

Before Tech challenges UT to a rematch maybe they should try their hand at beating the U of Houston, for chrissakes, in front of a roaring crowd of about 20k Cougar fans.

I'm sure that the anointed one will outlaw the "point to the sky" gesture since it implies that somehow God was involved in a successful play on the field.

Who does TU play? hmm NOBODY! They might be on UNT's level.
