Makes no sense. What benefit is gained? OK, so someone else knows how it feels to be shocked. And how it hits one person does not mean it will hit another person the same, so really nothing is learned. Plus there is the small risk associated with electric shock. Do we need attorneys and law enforcement officers to be shot with real bullets now, since officers sometimes have to do that as well to bring a situation in hand? It's a macho thing, pure and simple. This guy seems tough enough...why the need to get tazed?I have not seen any clips like this of a woman being tazed for educational purposes.
Female deputies and officers get taZed as well or they are not allowed to carry or use one. Training is not exclusive to the male LEOS...there is video of this you are not priveleged enough to see it is all.
I think I like the idea of them having to experience a tazer before carrying it. I think if they had experienced the pain of it, they might stop and think for a second rather than being so quick to pull out the tazer and use it!
i feel sorry for you guys....women get tazed and women carry tazers. The reason behind getting tazed is that way you know how it feels and what the human body is capable of doing. That way, if you have to taze somebody, you know about how they will react so you can act quicker to get them under control. Maybe someone needs to taze you just so you can shut up for a second

Bullet wounds are 4-ever, you would be surprised at the number of officers who have done that too. First pepper and now tasers, we love ya'll.
