you can probably check the SO database for inmates later for charges..he has been taken to wise regional for forced blood draw..he won't be in the data until he is booked onto county jail.
This is about as weird as it gets..this guy jumped into this peterbilt near Keeter as the rancher was loading cattle into it. The entire top deck of the trailer was full of cows..anyway the guy takes off and the rancher takes off after him in his pickup and calls 911..the guy heads up to Boyd then goes west on 114 with about 25 cops on his ass. They were trying to put out spikes but the guy was too slick, he took 51 north toward Deecatur, but then turned onto one of the county roads west back towards Paradise the gets back on 114w into Bport all the while the cops are talking about getting him away from traffic/people so they can shoot out the tires and radiator, so the guy turns onto 920 south still driving about 80mph and boom they shot out all of the tires on the passenger side, he keeps going and then they shot out the radiator, then the suspect drives off the road and jumps out an surrenders..damnitt.
BREAKING NEWS - CATTLE CHASE ENDS IN SHOOT OUT - A man stole an 18-wheeler loaded with cattle in the Keeter area at 5:40 p.m. Sunday. The man proceeded to lead a squadron of sheriff's deputies, state troopers and police officers on a half-hour chase. They raced down numerous county roads and onto Highway 114 through Paradise and Bridgeport at speeds of up to 80 miles per hour. Just south of Bridgeport on FM 920 officers shot out the radiator and several tires on the speeding truck. The truck rode into a ditch and the suspect jumped out. He was apprehended moments later. There were no known injuries to the officers, cattle or the suspect
MMOOOOOOOOVVEEEE!!! I witnessed the chase on my way to the grocery store, all the pretty lights were entertaining, what pissed me off was the cops shooting at the 18 wheeler by the park on the Westside of Bridgeport and all the kids in the area at the time. The police are lucky no one got hurt.
The kids weren't lucky,.....it was Wise County law enforcement shooting. You got to remember...it takes approximately 2-4 clips per man to hit a target........
Actually it was more State Trooper than Wise County anything! As a witness to the scene I counted 15 STATE TROOPERS. The only time I saw local enforcement involved was when Bridgeport PD was blocking the streets on Westside. But yeah, okay, I'm sure your the expert!!
8:33 am is correct. There was no Bridgeport PD in pursuit. I was there also, I think there was even a game warden thrown into the mix. Lots of county and Boyd PD and DPS. 15 cars.
hangman You are sooooo right! If they would do this to the majority of the criminals are jails & prisons wouldn't be so full and it would save the taxpayers a heck of lot money! A bullet & a rope is alot cheaper than a trial!
the best part that i forgot to mention in my report of the cow chase was the rancher guy stayed with the chase from beginning to end, and at one point some of the cops were saying that "someone should stop this guy he's interfering in our pursuit", what about those being his cows..??
