The Face Of A Criminal Mastermind?

Pic from the Star-Telegram of the goofy kid that got sucked in by three FBI agents. The illegal alien had been arrested on 9/11 for no driver's license.

If you had met the very intelligent, charming and handsome Ted Bundy, would you have thought he was a serial killer? Really, Barry...your argument just doesn't fly.

This should be a lesson to EVERYONE....The next time anyone asks you to dial a number to blow up a van after you drove the van, filled with explosives into the underground parking garage of a building...
JUST SAY NO TO JIHAD!

If somebody has the intent to commit murder, and thinks he has the means and the weapons to do so, even if the plot is contrived to fool him into thinking he can accomplish his goal, then that person is a danger and should be confined, charged and tried for the attempt.
Thank you FBI and DofHS for doing your jobs

Barry you are way after your time. Let's all go to Woodstock smoke some dope with all the baby rapers and terrorist, singing old Bob Dylan songs.

I'm just shocked Obama allowed the FBI investigate a terror plot. I mean all of us right wing extreamist have kept them so busy lately.

"Sucked in" my hind tit!!!!!!!!!!!!
C'mon Barry. That kind of logic is exactly what will allow these illegials to keep flooding in and being allowed to do this kind of crap.
The FBI began monitoring his activities after reading his posts on the internet. He was looking for supporters to fund a terrorist attack.
THEY INVESTIGATED HIM AND HIS ASSOCIATES TRYING TO FIND A "CELL".
How in the heck is that "sucking him in"?

I guess they "sucked him in" when he dialed the cell phone that was supposed to set off the fake explosives in the vehicle........
in the underground parking garage.............
under a skyscraper........
in Dallas............
that would have killed hundreds..........

Give me a break............Do I smell ACLU in Barry's drink?

Is he wearing one of those Affliction tee-shirts??

Are you trying to defend this punk BG? I'm sure the FBI set him up, bless his little heart. What if your parents had been in that building and the bomb did go boom?

Really Barry....really. Lets throw out a completely fake senario here. Barry gets home and there is a 19 year old in the house with a shotgun and says boom boom. Barry lives (I love you and your blog Barry) and the kid is arrested. Come to find out the kid was "sucked in" by some blog haters to do the job. Is he guilty Barry? Call it what you want, sucked in, whatever it doesnt matter when they follow through and pull the trigger!

I think some of the whacked out posters on this little blog could be tricked in to things very similar...you know, the ignorant, idiotic, white, racists and/or bigots......am I being redundant there? Yes, I think so, but I just want to get my point across to those arseholes.

I don't know, but I'm just sayin', and I'm wishin' they actually would get caught and put in jail, because I know they are evil incarnate.

Heck Barry, Guess the Feds sucked in another one.

CHICAGO (AP) -- A man who idolized American born Taliban soldier John Walker Lindh and a Jordanian national who frequented extremist Web sites are charged in unrelated cases after attempting to detonate what they thought were bombs outside an Illinois courthouse and a Texas skyscraper, federal officials said.

Federal officials said Thursday that the cases are not connected to each other or the major terrorism investigation under way in Colorado and New York.

Michael C. Finton, 29, who also went by the name Talib Islam, was arrested Wednesday in Springfield, Ill., after federal officials said he attempted to set off explosives in a van outside a federal courthouse in the Illinois capital.

Hosam Maher Husein Smadi, 19, was arrested Thursday in Dallas after federal officials said he placed what he believed to be a car bomb in a parking garage beneath the 60-story Fountain Place office tower.

In both cases, decoy devices were provided to the men by FBI agents posing as al-Qaida operatives. Both men are charged with trying to detonate a weapon of mass destruction and face up to life in prison if convicted. Finton also is charged with one count of attempting to murder federal officers or employees.

A small percentage of any group could get sucked in like this. There are a lot of unstable people out there. A lot of stuff happens because some invisible sky god told the to do it or some sky god spokesman told them it was OK.

If the FBI trolled enough Tea-bagger web sites, I'm sure they could convince some unstable person to commit a crime.

I agree, this dumb-ass kid should be dealt with, but this by no means was a sophisticated plot. I just hope the result of this is not blocking public access to parking or having TSA employees screen my trunk before I park or drive in Dallas.

The green headband DOES NOT match what he is wearing!!!!

I am sure that people smarter than myself have considered this, but is there any cause for concern regarding "entrapment" issues during the legal proceedings? Just a thought.

Geez so we find out it is possible to identify and apprehend bad guys without sending 200,000 soldiers to some foreign country.

And we get the real goods on Iran and play it in a way that we end up with Russia on our side. Let's see if we can get China to quit buying Iran's oil and really put the hurtin' on them.

Illegal alien- isn't it a federal crime to knowingly hire an illegal punishable by up to a $10,000.00 dollar fine per occurence. Enforce the laws on the books and he wouldn't have been here and a citizen could be the manager of Sonic.

You believe he got "sucked in"?????

You've lost it, Barry. I know you many times put up crapola statements just to watch the explosions from your readers here, but if YOU truly believe he got "sucked in," then you are a total imbocile!! How DARE you or anyone else remotely even whisper any kind of set up here. There ARE EVIL people in this world. The picture here just shows one of the many many thousands. THEY WANT TO KILL US!! What do you not understand about that? hmmm?

Anonymous said...

I agree he is stupid, but stupid people can be dangerous. I have faith that as this works thru the system, any "sucking" will come to light and he will be releasedand/or his sentence mitigated.

However, FBI, and others stay vigilant.

He sucked the feds into HIS bomb plot you IDIOT!!!

If they hate America so much then why are they HERE. Go back to your wonderful country and live there.
I am so sick of every illeagal person protesting and carring on about how great their country is and how bad we are. If we are so bad then why are you here taking OUR JOBS, OUR MONEY, OUR FREEDOM FROM US? GO BACK AND LIVE LIKE A DOG IN YOUR COUNTRY AND LEAVE US ALONE.

OK - the guy was known to be in the country "illegally." Step one might have been to arrest him and send him back. Apparently our internal spies (FBI) got on to this jerk and tracked him (and encouraged him?) while he went on with his terrorist plan. While delayed, justice was done. The Obama FBI neutralized this creep and now he's out of circulation - for a very long time.

Shoot him in the head and get on down the road.

Sheesh.

Found this definition of ENTRAPMENT - A person is 'entrapped' when he is induced or persuaded by law enforcement officers or their agents to commit a crime that he had no previous intent to commit; and the law as a matter of policy forbids conviction in such a case.

Seems like he had intent to commit the crime in the first place, was just looking for some contacts to help him carry out HIS plan! So, according to that definition, he was not SUCKED IN!!!!

This entapment device was put together over a period of at least 3 months working this kid alone (God only knows how long they ran this retarded fishing expedition before they lucked across this simple minded propaganda gold mine).

Let's apply some common sense and simple math to this situation.

If we assume the agents running this scheme were making 80,000 dollars a year and there were 4 agents working it for JUST the 3 months that kid was being pulled in that's 80,000 dollars.

What did this buy the American public?

Essentially - nothing.

Well hey, crazy internet dude surely, it did SOME good right?

No, not as far as the saftey and security of US citizens it did nothing but, here's what it did.

1) Provide political fodder for Middle Eastern Governments with that boy's imprisonment having the connotation of political prisoner. It will come back and haunt us in ways you sitting there rocking back and forth in Wise County could never understand such as the middle eastern governments intel. services having the swing to increase funding to the insurgencies in Iraq and Afghanistan.

2) Provide intel to groups ACTUALLY seeking to attack us with the information to improve the chances of success.

3) Insure motivation for a revenge attack.

4) Prove the impotence of FBI in preventing attacks. I mean come on, THEY had to plan an attack to be able to prevent it! Am I the only one troubled by this?

5)This was pure political propaganda (and bad at that). It is to serve to make the population afraid of future attacks without loss of life and thankful this one was 'prevented' making the FBI look more effective than they are.

6) Good luck to any congressman looking to control the FBIs budget or increase oversight in any way now and the FBI knew this when they launched this fishing trip.

7) Every Dem from small town mayors to President Obama himself will use this silly case to help themselves get re elected and we'll feel so much safer we'll shoo them right in, won't we?

We're all sheep

This case seems to me more than anything a picture of the FBI throwing their hands up in the air and saying we give up, we don't know what to do!
