I run Windows Vista on my laptop at home and, stay with me here, I always get a warning that my "recovery drive D:" is close to capacity. In searching for a way to make the error message go away, I was told that I might want to consider "compressing the drive". I did so, and then got this message about the status as to how long it would take. I did a screen grab to capture it.

Come on BG, you should be rolling with a Mac and you wouldn't have to put up with that kind of crap.
Vista is junk.....on most Dell computers you have the option to "downgrade" to XP.....for a price of course.
Looks like somebody needs a visit from a nearby computer professional. I could tell you how to fix that sh*t but then I'd have to kil.. ooops.
LOL. And you don't wait to wait that long?
Wow.
Now, here's my nerd question. How do you do a "screen grab"?
Windows 7 = Cat's Ass.
You should send that back to the manufacturer!! lol!! Bet they'd faint after seeing that message!
http://www.xkcd.com/612 will explain it all....
How many days till Dec.21, 2012?
Boycott Windows now!
How many ever, I can't wait, 10:34AM, or so I think right at this minute. But then again, I might decide to not give a shiate. Only time will tell.
And that is only 129.22 years.

Windows: Press PRINT SCREEN button. Then open a word processor file (or other) and PASTE.
Mac: Shift-Command-4 and draw a box around the portion you want. It takes a .jpg of the area and saves it on the desktop.
10:34. Nobody and mean NOBODY knows when the big catastrophe will happen, so stop with the Dec. 21, 2012.
(I actually think you meant Dec. 12, 2012, didn't you?)
