I had an epiphany about 12-21-2012 last night while watching a National Geographic special featuring Stephen Hawking on the free channel 101 on DirecTv, but now I can't remember what it was.
Dear 1:11 hey genius: one person said they could see the smoke from Chico, and another said it was near their house. Why don't you just triangulate and get the exact position that way? Better yet, check the Messenger website, and don't trust a f'ing blog for reliable news

I have heard that it was a tanker truck and that their are fatalities. Can see the smoke from Chico.
diesel tanker carrying 7200 gallons of diesel.
Near my house. Havent seen any smoke in about 15 minutes. Looks like the fire dept got it out. It did look pretty big though.
Major accident with tanker truck and tanker is fully involved.
