Compassionate grounds? Sheesh. Where's Ronald Reagan when you need him?
First, he'd blow the plane that this little bomber is taking (to wherever it is he is going) completely out of the sky. Then he'd head back to Libya and take care of the business that was
left unfinished by bombing ol' Muammar al-Gaddafi's tent to oblivion. And then, in a move that would remind the world what a "Super Power" was, he'd start bombing Scotland until they screamed "Freedom" at the top of their collective lungs.
Man, I miss the good old days.

President Barack Obama can only hope that he will leave even a part of the legacy of world respect left by President Ronald Reagan.
I'm right there with you Skippy.
Geez, you sound almost right wing militant. Easy before your head explodes.
Arise zombie Regan. Arise and save us from ourselves,
Holy S..t Barry has gone Conservative.
"Where's Ronald Reagan when you need him?"
Hey, maybe you're a recovering liberal...
Reagan RIP!
That was a scary time. I'd tell you about it but I'd fill up too much space.
We've gone from Ronnie Reagan to B.H. Obama in less than a generation.
Let that settle in for a minute.
DCB
Methinks Mr. Green sorta tongue-in-cheek here.
Barry, what is wrong with you?
I think we should follow Scotland's example and release all the so called terrorist and make friends with N. Korea and Iran. Bill and Hillary Clinton lied when they said that there were weapons on mass destruction in Iraq. Those two, along with Bush, are part of the problem.
Ever notice that all the anti war rhetoric stopped when Obama took office?
What in the hell are American troops doing in Bosnia?
Listen to old man Pete Seeger on youtube express his feelings on the subject. This is a live performance of his famous anti-war song. You might cry.

CNN reported this evening that this guy has terminal prostate cancer. Those thrifty Scotts are booting him out before they have to spend money trying to keep his worthless arse alive.
I guess the equation for compassion works like this:
1 terrorist = 259 victims
Compassion is overrated.
Please remember what Reagan did when terrorists bombed the embassy in Lebanon killing hundreds of our Marines - he did exactly NOTHING! He invaded Grenada instead. Check your history you right wing nutz. Reagan was a big talking do-nothing.
Hey, keep yucking it up "Huckle" Barry. Like I've said before, we'll see who laughs last.
8:10...why should they spend money to keep him alive? To be thrifty, why not just give him morphine until he croaks? For that matter, why the hell is he still alive? That wouldn't happen in Texas...and I'd bet nobody would care if all the members of the Court of Criminal Appeals turned off their cell phones and took their phones off the hook the night he would have been executed.
"CNN reported this evening that this guy has terminal prostate cancer". Some people with terminal cancer kill themselves. I guess, now that he is being released, he could do that by flying an airplane into a building. How many virgins will he get?
Chupa it is RayGun.
Compassion? Let him die with his family? How many people on that flight didn't get to die in the arms of their family? How impossibly stupid if they choose to release him. Prison transfer--OK. Release--Insanity.
You aren't the only one longing for Ronald Reagan. We are now proving that we can exist without a president!!
"Please remember what Reagan did when terrorists bombed the embassy in Lebanon killing hundreds of our Marines - he did exactly NOTHING! He invaded Grenada instead. Check your history you right wing nutz. Reagan was a big talking do-nothing."
Silly mongoloidal liberal: it wasn't an embassy. What else do you not know about history, warfare and politics? Please regale us- we have all day and I think we'll need it.
This was done so British Petroleum could get the Libyan Oil Contract ahead of the Dutch Petroleum bunch after the same oil....the Dutch didn't have a terrorist to release so BP wins round one.
Hopefully some Pan Am guy who lost his job because of this goof will just happen to cross paths with him. This guy put the nail in the coffin of the world's flagship carrier. Not only did he kill innocent people, he cost jobs and destroyed families all over the globe. Juan Trippe will be waiting for him on the other side.
Ha Ha! It is the third term of proving we can exist without a president.
9:57 Did you answer what Reagan did when hundreds of our Marines were bombed? Again, he did NOTHING but invade Granada (which obviously had nothing to do with the events in Lebanon).
OK history major, what did Reagan do about the deaths of Marines in Lebanon?
I'll jump in on this one. Reagan made the decision to invade Grenada on October 22, 1983, at the request of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States. The next day the barracks in Beirut were bombed, and on October 25 American troops went into Grenada -- a decision made before the Marines were killed in Lebanon. Reagan planned attacks in response, but was talked out of that action by Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger and did not retaliate for the bombings. A poor decision, as it turned out. (And one in direct contrast to the assumptions BG made in his original post.) So, Mr 629, you apparently don't know your history.
