She learned a thing or two from Tom Delay. Don't look all miserable and beat-down in your mug shot. Make it look like you're trying to get that perfect pic for the Congressional directory or your Facebook profile.
Bet Daddy wiped that cute little smile off her face when he bonded her out! Does it say something about our future leaders when they obviously think it's a game to be caught with drug paraphernalia and spend a night in jail?
What all qualifies for "drug paraphernalia?" I assume bongs and needles and stuff like that, but how generic can it be and still be an offense? Rolling papers? Matches? Cored-out apple?
Way to go, Denton PD. Get that vermin off the street and lock her away at taxpayer expense.
Good point 10:22. That law is waaaaay too vague. Besides, it is getting to the point where they are interpreting the law to suit philosophy and that is downright wrong. In Austin if you get caught with less than an ounce of pot you get a ticket. In Denton its 1000 dollar bond and a night in Jail. It's a freaking college town for crying out loud.
I never understood the drug paraphernalia thing. Just like 10:22 pointed out this sounds like if could be a discetionary thing.
What if a cop just didn't like the way I looked and considered the $20 in my pocket to be a coke snorter. Could he take me to jail and charge me with possesion of DP?
Come on, people! If she had something ILLEGAL, she deserved to be arrested!!
What the hell, Barry. You need to stop ignoring Romans 8. Power up your posse and get the law changed if you feel that strongly. In the meantime, quitcher complaining and be subject to government.
To anonymous 8:04... OMG! I thought I was the only person to do that. Blotting Tissues are soooo bloody expensive, at approximately $8. for a book of 20, I have, for the past 5 years, used ungummed O C B papers. Since they are no longer manufacturing O C B I bought 2 boxes.
Nope, I don't smoke weed but if I did I would probably use a Borosilicate Glass Bong like the one used by my 70 year old friend with cancer.
Alot of the Denton police and Unt police get their kicks out of arresting attractive white college girls. Believe me i know from experience and thank God i wasn't booked but my friend that is a pre=med student was booked and taken into jail because there was beer in her car and it wasn't even hers. She was talking on her cell to her boyfriend in her friends car in a club parking lot and the cops came up and started harrassing her and then took her to jail. It cost her lots of money to keep this off her record.

Cutest booking photo, ever. However, it does not send quite the message sent by this photo.

I would like to motion for charges to be dismissed. Young lady, come with me, and I will administer my own brand of street justice.

She can smoke my pipe
Waste of time locking her up over nothing.
Denton taxpayers are getting taken for a big ride.
A cop can come up with a reason to call just about anything in your pocket drug paraphernalia.
So you're sayin they found a Pipe and Her Crack?
Very funny pic MzChief - wonder which political party that woman belongs to?
UNT Cheerleader?
If someone says he would lick her toes...............
Well I'm just gonna laugh like I always do
