BG, why do ya pick and choose the results you post? our slidell gal got second. saw it on the messenger.com and all the other results and photo slideshow thingy with pix
Bonnie Richardson from Rochelle has already competed in 4 events: 1st place Long Jump and High Jump, 2nd Place Discus, and 4th Place in 100 Meter Dash for a total of 32 points and leads in the Team results! She still has one event to compete in the 200 Meter Dash. What an amazing athlete!! She could easily repeat this year as the individual/Team champion!
I'm in Austin, too! I saw a girl in a Decatur Sporty something shirt getting off the elevator here at the Hilton where we're staying. I am guessing she's with the track people.
According to your picture, Carrillo got 3rd...in Chico we call that a Bronze metal...Texas also calls that a Bronze...Perhaps things are different in Baylor land though.
