Hippie Dance
If the hippies ever need a leader, I've found them one. It takes this guy exactly 1 minute and 20 seconds to create a dance party that Don Cornelius and the Soul Train Gang would be proud of. Heck, I almost stood up beside my desk, stripped down to my underwear, and joined in because I was so caught up in the euphoria.
And I've never been, but this is pretty much the way I picture the Decatur Chamber of Commerce Auction party every year.

If Obama being elected was not evidence enough, this video further proves the point, that some people will, eagerly, follow any yahoo who will dance in front of a crowd and is willing to lead.

Just got back from Decatur's graduation ceremony - I think it was the best HS graduation ceremony I've ever seen. Speeches were a great blend of inspiration and humor.
The Valedictorian's speech was jaw-dropping impressive. Unbelievable an 18 year old could write a speech like that and deliver like he did.

I, for one, believe in him and his agenda (for the most part), and I'm ALMOST as smart as you, just of a different political persuasion. No need to rant, I said ALMOST!

The DHS Valedictorian's father is Tommy Brummet, the previous Methodist Church preacher in Decatur, and is one of the finest speakers I have ever heard locally--and I'm a Baptist! I guess his son "got it honest", so to speak. He is one fine kid!
LOVE this dance posting! Wish I were there! And yes, the Brummet family is fantastic. Decatur was very very unfortunate to lose him to McKinney.
