Another classy project from Joe.
Excellent job Joe; good luck Wise County athletes!
wow, kuddos to mr. duty, mr. morgan and anyone else in the messenger sports team for this one. very creative.....and u didnt even have to use the picture of a greeving spouse to catch our attention
Great work, Duty! Go, Decatur girls, go (from Decatur's biggest cross country fan--you girls know who I am, let's just say I've taken a lot of pictures for Coach Park)!! To the other Wise county runners--congratulations and have a good run at State!
I wonder if this Joe Duty is the same photographer that has his pictures on the main page of the actual paper quote often? I notice (well my wife actually) that there are a heck of a lot of underage girls scantily clad on a majority of it's covers... This one is a pic for all those foot fetish people...
Way to go Joe! Thanks for supporting all the athletes! See you at Austin!!!! Good luck to Travis and the Lady Dawgs!!!!!!And way to go Coach Enis for helping these girls succeed!
9:46 Probably because most boys track programs are treated as a conditioning tool for football. The girl's track workout is designed for the girls to go to state. Get the football coaches off the track, you'll have a different outcome. Nice work Joe!
For those of you who have never been to the State Championships, UT does it up BIG TIME! 25,000+ crowd (Texas, California, and Florida have the 3 biggest meets) and for these Wise County athletes, it will be a moment to remember walking out on that track!! Great job to all!! It's a MAJOR accomplishment to be in the Top 8 in an event in the ENTIRE STATE!!!
where are all the boys this year? thanks robert for putting this masterpiece together. my daughter has been so excited to see this since the day you called us to go to your studio, and wonderful photos joe. you two make a great team, now i hope all our athletes wont disappoint you at state after all of your publicity.
It was a GREAT piece Mr. Duty, I only wish you could have named what event the kids would be participating in. Competing at State is a huge accomplishment I salute all the kiddos who have made it this far. You are truly already all winners!!! Good Luck!
For all the sports out there great and good luck! BUT, did you know Decatur went to State for thier one act play last week (and Slidell had rep too)? There are alot of really talented kids in Wise County.
11:02 It's parents and the community wishing these kids good luck. It's called school spirit and community pride. I know it's a "new thing" in Alvord, but I think we better get used to it! The new principal and superintendent up there are great! They even had a mock send off for the kids. Sad thing is, the kids don't know how to take it. Actual support from the administration????What will be next? Freedom of speech in Alvord? Keep up the good work Alvord! All that is left is the clean-up!

Has anyone heard how any of the WC kids have done at state. Some of them started running at 10:00 this morning I think.
why did the messupper say they would have a live feed during the events, why do they always lie.
