One the one at Taco Bell, the car turned into the motorcycle. The car was turning into Taco Bell and drug the bike and rider. The car driver was issued a citation. I talked to the motorcycle rider and he was released from ER. Thankfully he grabbed the grill of the car preventing him from going under the car. He is very lucky but has damage to his knee. Neither vehicle was speeding drivers just need to watch where they are going.
Here's how it really works: If there is an accident involving a car and a motorcycle, the motorcycle rider ALWAYS loses. Physics, you know. As Barry sees the world, however, if there is any evidence that the operator of said motorcycle is negligent, then it follows that all motorcyclists are irresponsible hoodlums and deserving of their fate. When, in fact, a driver other than the motorcycle operator succeeds, through his/her negligence, in injuring or killing said biker, the lack of commentary deafens us with its silence. Your prejudice, BG, is soooooo apparent.
I saw an ad yesterday showing car drivers information about watching for motorcycles. It was good because it showed actual footage of what to do to be safe. With more and more people using them for reasons of gas prices car drivers need to be looking. We aren't talking Hells Angels and Krotchers...were talking average person trying to save money.
66.2 to 75% of all car vs motorcyclist ends with the car driver saying i didnt see the biker people need to look twice and make sure that it is safe to proceed.REMEMBER THE COST OF NOT PAYING ATTENTION CAN BE DEATH!
