To Hold Me, to Scold Me, Cause When I'm Bad I'm So So Bad

The mascot at the University of Illinois used to do some crazy Me Fire Up-em Crowd dance at halftime. But no longer. Last night, the God of Political Correctness witnessed his last dance.

We shall offend no more.

Is he a real Indian and were drugs, alcohol,or rock trucks involved?

He now has to wear a suit jacket with a Casino logo and go around the arena making change for everyone while swilling a beer.

And yet, in the world headquarters of political correctness we have a team called the Redskins.

That's such a load of crap. The chief wasn't an insult to Native Americans. He was an omage. We actually bought his headdress from an Indian tribe, with their permission. Such crap. Crap. Crap. Crap.

Amen, "think frustrated". Political Correctness = Cowardice = Crap. I'm so sick of this "heritage" crap--its the PAST, get over it. What you are NOW is all that matters, not where you came from many generations ago. Our country became strong because it "assimilated" diverse cultures--NOT by celebrating "diversity". That just keeps us paying attention to our differences, and hinders our pulling together and working together for the common good.

Here are some more college mascot and fan observations.

1. The fighting Irish. If I was Irish, I would protest after witnessing the Sugar Bowl.

2. Upside down Texas longhorn logos worn by OU fans. They come to Lubbock and wear them and do the horns down sign. Ummm, you guys aren't playing Texas today.

Baylor needs a dancing Bear, that would be genius. I would make fun of A&M but instead I will say that they have a great band. My second favorite in the history of evar all times. Down with PC!
