The news this morning said that previous to the trial, the judge had submitted audition tapes in an attempt to get his own TV show.
I can't believe the courts in FL allow this type of behavior from their own judges.
I followed the link you posted yesterday, that guy is a freak! He loves the sound of his own voice and he's totally playing to the media. I think he got his law degree at Walmart.

5:15 - you said it best. How do folks like that become judges anyway? He is likely wanting to be "discovered" by some movie director.
A courtroom is a serious place for everyone to be. For people to treat it with disrespect is sending a message that it is no more than a place for cheap theatrics.
I hope our courtrooms in Wise County never stoop to such things.
This saga is getting worse by the day.......All of them need to be shot, the judge, the lawyers, the mommy, Birkhead.
I'm not a Howard K. Stern fan, but he has been her closest companion, next to her son, for years. He deserves to bury her next to her son.
This judge is a certified kook! Was he elected or appointed? Whatever the case, those who put him there must be very proud.
