Hyundai makes a pretty good product. Woods is just recognizing that the public is buying quality/price and his current lineup of GM stuff is lacking. I don't think James made his $$$$ by being stupid.
GM is in permanent decline. So is Ford. Soon the sales from the GM vehicles will not be able to support the size of a dealership that Wood has.
Even if they weren't, Ford, GM, and Chrysler do not build vehicles in North America much. The unions have driven in the final nail to the US car companies' coffin.
How soon before the Decatur Wal-mall parking lot is full of 4 wheel drive, hinged in the middle, 3/4 ton diesel Hyundai pickup trucks????
