Courthouse Roaming
It looks like there is an Aggravated Assault trial that started today in the district court in Decatur. I peeked in and noticed that the Defendant was African-American and the jury was all white. I'm really not worried about him getting a fair trial (heck, I had a "not guilty" in a misdemeanor case about six years ago under the exact same scenerio), but it just looks odd.

In a county that is 1% black, how in the hell are you suppose to get 12 blacks eligible to be jurors?
How do you know he was from Africa? Was it because he was black? I thought liberals were colored blind. Theresa Heinz Kerry is African American although the dinosaur media never mentioned it. And I think she was lily white.
A little ethnic cleansing and I think you should be able to get rid of the remaining blacks.

All the black people in wise co. are cousins so there is no way to get some on the jury. Plus he's guilty anyway .

Last poll we took showed most of'em in jail.
All of the white people in Wise County are married to their sisters. Just go to Walmart and you'll se a bunch of fat, toothless look-a-like couples.
xochetta, I hear that! Almost everybody in Wise county is inbred.That could explain all the deformed people... Another thing. I feel sorry for the dude. He aint gotta snowballs chance in hell. But yet George Aguilar of Newark can beat a man with a metal pipe twice (first time the pigs gave him a "warning"), spend 3 months in jail and get time served! WTF thats bullshit a Agg Assault has a minimum of 2 years! Well he beat his wife 24/7 and the pigs never did nothing..
How the hell do you find a credible black person to be on a jury?
How the hell do you find a credible Wise county person to be on a jury? The man has a RIGHT to a jury by his peers! Not a jury of a bunch of cop-loving, racist, uneducated hicks!
Also there is a myth that half the African-Americans in Wise county are in jail. Well that is simply not true. There is no way Wise county jail could hold half the black population and plus the rest of the inmates! As a matter of fact I don't know any African-American in jail.
