When playing baseball, there is always the prospect of getting hit by a ball. That's why batters now wear helmets and fielders wear gloves. However, if you don't pay attention or have poor reactions, accidents will happen. So what do you propose? Stop the playing of baseball or be prepared for fast moving balls?
The boy has died. It appears he was pitching to a batter in one cage when a ball hit him from another batting cage - with a defective screen. It appears to me to be a lawsuit against the district for the equipment in disrepair.
