Time Does Not Stop

Dead at age 27 due to the business end of a shotgun, Kurt Cobain would have turned 40 today.

It's always a shame for someone young to die. But are you blaming the GUN for his death? Maybe his years of drug addiction contributed, huh?

Reconcile that with the "more liberal drug laws" stance. How would legalizing more drugs improve the lives of people like Kurt Cobain?

Hey Barry, you still want to legalize weed after that Quincy Carter interview the other night?

a tortured genius. if you like nirvana, check out their performance of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on the british show "Top of the Pops". one of the funniest, most satirical things you'll ever see. i think this is a good link to it (youtube.com/watch?v=mHrqkefrm50), but if not, search youtube for: teen spirit funny live version.

wordkyle: it might not make them healthier or saner, but at least it would make them non-criminals.

Curt Cobain's autopsy revealed that he had 20-30 times the human toxicity level of heorinin his system. No matter how high of a tolerance he had, there's simply no way that he could have taken that much without overdosing(dying instantly). My point is DEAD MEN DON'T PULL TRIGGERS!

He would've been 40?? Wow. That dates me -- I remember hearing about his death when I was a sophomore in college -- so sad.

And by the way, Mister Straw Man: I don't think anyone blames the gun for Kurt Cobain's death. The man was headed for it one way or another -- didn't he OD more or less on purpose a few weeks prior to his successful attempt with a shotgun? I feel nothing but pity for a person in so much pain, no matter what method he chose to end it all.

Ironic. His mojo must've been in the air...I downloaded some Nirvana to my iPOD that morning. First time I've listened to them since the 90's.
