Jay-Z Made A Wise County Court Appearance

I was in a protective order hearing this morning at the courthouse when someone's phone went off. Always a tense scene. But this one was pretty funny since the ring tone fired off, "Show me what you got lil' mama. Show me what you got lil' lady."

Did the offender knock someone over the head with a bottle of Cristal?

Barry, You know to turn your phone off in those situations. I guess you were upset that you had to be inside and not out chasing ambulances.

a cell phone went off during a FUNERAL that I attended recently. The most disrespectful thing I can think of, short of relieving oneself in the casket.

Be careful bgirl when you wet on the casket. Somebody might see your warts.

I get a laugh if a cell phone ring creates a tense moment in a courtroom. Are we tense that an attorney or a judge will be offended?

Attorneys and judges are WAAAAAY full of themselves. You should silence your cell phone in church and certainly at a funeral out of respect. If you silence a cell phone in court I would assume it was under the premise that there are individuals in the courtroom who have earned your respect. Who in a courtroom deserves respect -- CERTAINLY not attorneys and highly unlikely a judge.

Are you sure it wasn't your phone, Barry? The name of that song sounds like you.

Where I come from, there is a great big sign outside each courtroom instructing all who enter to turn their cell phones OFF. Since it was the Wise County Courthouse, and most wiseguys can't read or spell, well now, I understand.
