yes 8:03, I think it's a great picture! amazing one person can be that committed and brave.
Thousands were killed and their government covered it up. Here's to that guy who was will to die to get the freedoms we have. What does it say about us who are willing to give up our freedom for safty? He knew giving up freedom for safty is not a equitable trade. When all of us are safe but have no freedom will we be like him?
Where were you when the tanks were rolling into the Branch-Davidian compound?
Are you seriously comparing China to the Branch Davidian compound? How do you know the children in the compound weren't being abused as is the case with so many cults? The Branch Davidians had an opportunity to defend any accusations that may have been leveled against them, but they chose not to. Because of the actions of the Branch Davidians, they and those children died. They would not come out and talk to law enforcement officials, and they shot police officers. Since when is that OK? Didn't the Branch Davidians set the fire that killed everyone?
Ben Franklin said; "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
I think the same can be said about people who are unwilling to give up safety in order to obtain liberty.

You seriously don't know what you're talking about. Our government murdered those people in Waco and have done their best to misinform and obfuscate since. Your compassion for those murdered in our country measured against nameless faces in a country thousands of miles away (that I'd be willing to bet you haven't even visited)frustrates me. Where have the Americans gone?
9pm, hopefully all the Americans haven't gone off their rockers as you have. The ones murdered in Waco were the law enforcement officials that were shot (and the children that were killed by their parents' cult). You must be the same blogger that turned a cute video of a baby into a big debate about stem cell research. Where were you during the Oklahoma City bombing? I'd sure like to know...
