Nope, won't watch it... Not only is it probably a West Wing rip off, but it's also a test balloon for hilary rodham clinton to see if the country could find a female president palatable... damned democrats!

Are you kidding? You are unreal, it's just a TV show, my goodness you people are paranoid. Please explain to me how this is a test balloon for Hillary,...damned republicans!

It's OK. It is somewhat similar to West Wing. The show spent too much time calling the new Prez's hubby the "first lady" and going through all the changes with a woman in office and allegiances to the former president, etc. I'll give it two more episodes before I decide to stick or move on.

I like Gina Davis and Donald Sutherland is hot in an old fogey sort of way. I won't watch it if it competes with Law and Order (any of them though)

...some do say "Commander in Chief" is a test to see if we are ready for a woman President.....

....and why do we always think of Hillary? Is she the only one who would be interested - even in the Democratic party?

... Bet there are bookoos of Republican women just waiting to toss their pearl chokers into the ring.

....wouldn't surprise me if Elizabeth Dole made a run for it.

:( ........yuk!

anon 3:28 - brilliant - I'm going to remember that.......

....when I answer conservative Democrat, folks roll their eyes...

...but now a liberal Republican......

....oh my!

We have done a great disservice to the female gender and the human race in general if anything reminds us of Hillary Clinton.

6:30 pm - not sure about your viewpoint. Hillary isn't my cup of tea either, but think she has been working toward the top job all of her life. That same thing could be said of many folks!......

..she'll be hard to beat with her qualifications and grit......

......she made me mad when she said she didn't bake cookies.

Poor Chelsea. What a deprived childhood.

I don't think Republican or Democrat is important. I think what we need is a strong leader. As much as I don't like her, Hilary is strong. I would be happy enough with her even if I don't like her. I really like McCain but don't think he is up to the in fighting and mudslinging it takes to get elected. I really think what this country needs is a strong leader that is neither Rep. or Dem. Problem is without the monetary support of a big party it is gonna be hard to beat either party. That and some people are so determined to be partisan and won't vote for the best person, the will just vote the straight ticket. I don't think Colin Powell is up to it either. Not sure who it should be but I don't think I like any of my choices.

Whoever it ends up being, I'm sure they will do a bad job (joking). It's a no win situation, but I do believe in girl power!!!

Just asking, does anyone know anything about Harris Construction?

A woman President? I don't think so.

What happens during the 12 weeks of the year when she's on the rag?! Or if the "First Gentleman" knocks her up during her term? (Although this is unlikely, since any male in that role wouldn't have any balls to begin with.)

Wino Mchackenpuke, you are OFF the Christmas list!

I think Gina is about as close to being a man as John Kerry was.

The woman president last night (smart like Hillary) is making the ruthless, right wing speaker of the house (character like DeLay) look really stupid! She is two steps in front of him all the time.

Last night she picked a general (like Wesley Clark) to be her V.President.

Dirty tricks going on in the power struggle between the right wing and the Independent president.

The show is better than West Wing. We will get a chance to decide this in 2008!

Jeb could run and then it would be Bush/Clinton all over again. Maybe that is why George W. is putting his friends on the Supreme Court.

The show is good! I was cussing Sutherland out for a minute and then came back to earth realizing it was just a TV show...

That was a good one!

Some Talking Heads are saying that if Hilary makes it to nomination, the Conservatives will have no choice but to put up Condalesa Rice... (who, incidentally, would totally steal the African American vote away from the dems).... we need to face it... A woman president is inevitable!

I want Kevin Kline to be president like he was in that movie where he looked like the real president and had to fill in when the prez had a stroke.

Unfortunately, we'll never get what we need - someone who is honest and really cares about people. The political system is far too in debt for that to happen.

You misspelled my name and I will not run!

Geez, Wino Mchackenpuke, your profile is kinda creepy...

And, if Condi runs, I'm votin' for her! Tough, brilliant, conservative AND an elegant woman. =)

We've watched the last two weeks. It comes on at the same time as "The amazing race" which I do not like. The President had used Ms Davis to get elected but she was an Independent and her views didn't agree with his. Right before he died - he asked her to resign. He never intended for her to Pres.(Of course - he didn't expect to die) She decides not to,(step down) much to the dismay of Donald Sutherland who is the Speaker of the House and next in line to be Pres. Not a bad show - really. I tried to watch the Office - this is better than that!

Wino, I can tell that you have very little respect for women. If it wasn't for a woman u wouldn't be here. If a woman can raise a family, hold down a full time job, get the kids to the dr's., soccer, piano,etc...& do the cooking and cleaning as well as keep her husband happy, how can u possibly think that a woman wouldn't be qualified to be pres.. Multi tasking, u men should try it sometime. As far as PMS, it means putting men second, and putting women first, for a change. I bet your mother is soooooooo proud.

This is wino's mother,10:59 is so right! Abortion, I'm for it.Thanks to YOU!

Really great to see a "true genius" (see Mensus) play a key role in anything resembling US politics! Genius comes in handy as an actor and as a president, don't you think?
