"I'm not really clear how much a billion dollars is but the United States — our United States — is spending $5.6 billion a month fighting this war in Iraq that we never should have gotten into. I never did like Andy Rooney. I think we waste too much money on TV, football (all sports), and movies. I wonder what Andy on all the other Hollywood liberals think we should do about these suicide bombers blowing themselves and innocent people up all over the world?

He reported from the front in WWII. He has seen what all out war really is. People need to listen to what he is saying or the Churchill gambit is bound to occur.
I guess you people would rather have buildings, buses, people blowing up all around you than, God forbid, wage war against them at home.
If Andy's against the war, that enough for me. I'm for it.
In the great American tradition, Andy has exercised his right to be wrong again, pity his occupation exposes it to others.
Andy has exercised his right, as an American, to speak what he believes. Do all of you who disagree with people on a daily basis tell them that they are stupid or do not know what they are talking about. Why don't you open your heart and minds and be reflectful and learn from others. Everybody in this old world can learn from others.
