Double Wow

"JOSHUA - Fire Chief Sandy Mason arrived at what appeared to be a minor traffic accident about 6:30 a.m. Friday. He quickly found out the situation was much more serious. Tammy Mallicote, eight months pregnant, was dead in the front seat of one of the cars. When a paramedic saw the woman's abdomen move, emergency personnel decided they had a chance to save the baby." Rest of the story is in today's Star-Telegram

I am glad the baby is alive. What an awful way to have to come into the world. I can't imagine growing having never known a mohter.

my hats go off to those emts and paramedics who preformed the care to save that babies life may we all remember that the lord works miracles everyday

spiritrider, It continues to amaze me when people credit the lord for positive events while ignoring the tragic. Is it the lord's work that the baby survived? Is it also his work in killing the mother?

Why not just acknowledge the great effort of some EMTs and not attribute the event to some ghostly miracle maker.

anon 3,

SHUT UP! Just let him believe that....I do.......everything cannot be explained, but the baby might have been better off without the mother. God could have seen tragedy in the baby's life that delt with the mother as the suspect. There might be more tragedy on this earth because of people like you that don't believe in God, (I am guessing that you don't). And God probably got those EMTs there in the nick of time to save that baby. Just be happy and count your blessings. Stop complaining.

Gee, What did God have against those 1,900 soldiers who've been killed in Iraq? Or the 3,000 in the Trade Towers? Or the little kid with incurable cancer or deformities? Or the folks run over by tidal waves or hurricanes? Or by runaway trucks? Or the 24 old folks in the bus evacuating Houston? And on and on and on...

How about taking responsibility for doing the right thing and not attribute everything to spooky forces?

12:34,
I don't think you read my comment very well. See if you can do it again.

Come on people God does NOT KILL!
We live in a fallen world and bad things happen to good and bad people!Jesus came so that we might have live! satan is here to kill, steal, destory! John 10:10. I am a parent I would never do anything to harm my child why would God be any different? He wants the best for all of His children! But we make choices everyday, some good some bad!

Anyone that believes God kill's people does not know God at all!

Anon @ 12:34 God had nothing to do with all those deaths!

I find it incredibly interesting that the ProChoice rumble takes a rest in a story such as this one. You know, how the "unborn baby" was able to be saved from the dead mother's body? Rather than the fetus, which isn't technically a "person" yet, being evacuated from the woman's body. Hmm.

Of course, I am thrilled to see that the EMT's saved this baby's life. Too bad more women, and their doctors, won't choose to save other babies' lives as well.

Whoever said "God does not kill" knows nothing concerning the Bible, therefore theology.

I agree with anon 9:10

Don't know that much Judeo/Christian theology, but didn't God supposedly flood the world killing all but Noah's brood?
And I think there is a bunch of the "smite down" stuff throughout. I guess there is selective perception and/or retention going on here.

He made the flood because there were so many bad people in the world. He is a just being. He said to the Isrealites, "If you do wrong, I will punish you, if you do right, I will reward you."

You must be the same "Bible Scholar" that believes Christ never got depressed either.

It might be a good idea for you to actually go READ the Bible before you start arguing religion. Because some of the rest of us have.

All I can say is that we live in the age of grace everything changed at the cross God took all His warth out on His son on the cross! In the O. T. God was judging sin, so He killed the sinner! In the N.T. Jesus took our place on the crosss He became our sin and we became His righteousness! Go Read John 10:10 and then tell me who Kills?
