"BANK EMPLOYEES THREATENED — Robbie Clyde Thompson, 34, of Chico was arrested yesterday morning after officers said he threatened to kill employees of the First State Bank in Chico." More in the
Update.
He thought "Severe Penalty For Early Withdrawal" applied to the bank, not him.

And people think I am kidding about this place.
Maybe he is kin to Bonnie & Clyde
did you notice his middle name?
While looking at the link I saw this
"RANN READING RALLY – Rann Elementary School in Decatur will host its first “Reading Rally” tonight in the school library. Decatur Eagle football players will be on hand for the event. Door prizes will be given."
The football players will be there? That really strikes me as funny.
heck condi, I'd rather have a doorprize than a look at a football player.......
.....do you reckon it will be a helmet or a dictionary?
:)
he thought, "early withdrawal, etc".......
...come on Barry, would a guy who
pulled a stunt like that have that kind of thought processes?
.....he's nuts!
I have been pissed off enough at banks to want to make a scene. Nothing on that scale, but part of me sympathizes. Try depositing a cashiers check from a house sale then converting it to a new check to buy a house on the same day. Ain't happening.
Maybe the DA should have done something sooner, or are they just going to wait until he kills someone else?
Yes, the Decatur football players are going to read to the Rann elementary kiddies. Do the football boys on the other side of the big sandy not know how to read, so its funny the athletes are that much smarter on the east side? I guess that's the difference in the schools ratings, too.
Only in Chico.
or Alvord, or Boyd, or..............
Gee, another Decatur vs. Bridgeport blog? Wow, you NEVER find those here...lol
I work at a bank and you're right we wouldn't take a cashiers check and convert it the same day because when you're dealing with a paper check it can be returned for many reasons. That's why most title companies wire funds now days.

Why do you think the DHS players are reading books at Rann elementary?
Lots of pictures no big words.
