If it weren't for the very high priced licenses and permits that an exotic game hunter must purchase in order to shoot one of these animals, there would be no revenue to sustain the land which is secured for these animals nor would there be funding to feed these animals. The fact is exotic game hunting has prevented the outright extinction of several endangered species. It costs money. It is monitored by Texas game wardens. It is done not only to provide a zealous hunter with a prized kill, but more to sustain the existence of endangered animals.

1 guy disagrees and you waste the time to post it. Barry is now making news. Who did you charge this hour to?

@11:18

What high-priced license or permit? Do you mean the land-owners kill fees? I am not aware of a special license or permit needed for an exotic hunt.

How do Game Wardens monitor the shooting of non-game animals that do not have seasons or need tags?

Land owner kill fee, yes, that in many of these hunts is called a permit.

If you are unaware of the commercial provisions regulated by the state, you should visit:
www.tpwd.state.tx.us
And search for "non game" hunting. That page addresses the hunting of exotic species on private property.

I wonder if they cry for their babies as they themselves slowly die from gaping bloody wounds.

I don't see much difference, that bullet probably doesn't feel much different for the animal whether they were "hunted" or not. Your giving yourself too much credit big man hunter!!

It'd be funny if a Hunter was lookin through a scope and saw a Deer looking back at him through his scope.

Jeff Jones, the man is in a wheelchair. Hmmm , let me see. Yes it is very hard to hunt in Texas woods in a wheelchair. He just trying to enjoy a sport. Shooting. But I guess, running down Bambi with a .273 adds an inch or 2 to your manhood. Killing them is killing them, it doesn't matter if you wear $600 dollar pants (look them up) or jeans. Dogging a man for killing something, by bragging about killing something, seems odd.

Not like nature showed him any respect, so I can see why he wouldn't think he owes nature any favors.

Well, one thing's for sure. He's really good with animals. Look how they're all sitting at his feet like he's the baby Jesus or something. I'd vote for a man who's good with animals.

As stupid and dangerous as Perry is, Abbott may be worse. We will continue to get their level of politician until the Dems can find much better candidates than they've put forward recently.
