As a prelude to the Hurricane Harbor post, I wanted to at least share this. As I pulled into my very expensive parking spot ($12 general parking), I looked over and saw the above trash under the truck next to me. (I tried to tweak with the photo's contrast to show it better.) The best I could tell was that someone had a pretty good fast food meal and then dumped all the trash on the ground. They then made the effort to kick it a bit under the truck.

I feel pretty good about making assumptions about the person or person(s) responsible. The most basic one being: You don't care much about anything, do you? I understand eating fast food before going into the park (maybe not in 100 degree heat, but I do understand) because I don't really want to pay the inflated prices inside either. But it came in a bag. Once you're through, there's a readily available bag for you to put the trash in. I mean the absolute best place to put the remnants of your Bahama Burger is in that bag. From there, you just have to carry it a few yards to a trash bin.
This isn't a Going Green post. It's an Anti-Slob post.

A good anti-slob would have donned his rubber gloves and picked it up with tweezers and placed it in a bag and taken it to the lab for DNA testing. It's so hard to find a good anti-slob these days.

That looks like trash from many days and many people to me.
I have to defend them. You pay $12 to just park. You are stuck with eating and drinking the over priced crap they sell inside. There is no place but the hot ass parking lot to have lunch. BG-if they start charging for potty useage...shouldn't park near me.

I didn't do forensic analysis on the photo, but it did cross my mind that maybe the pickup driver simply pulled into a parking spot where trash had already been dumped. Your rant, however, is justified regardless of who the culprit was.

Please edit your post to reflect whether you picked the trash up or not so we will know just righteous and virtuous YOU are.
All I see is someone trying to help out the economy by creating more jobs. Someone has to be paid to clean it up.

Drive any Wise County road and scan the ditches, looks just like Barry's photo. I will have to assume the posters on this subject aren't form Wise County because it seems the citizens here are in favor of this method of disposing of fast food trash.

Reminds me of a scene from Mad Men a couple seasons ago. Don loads the Draper family into the new Caddy and they go for a lovely picnic on a Sunday afternoon.
The birds are chirping, the kids are laughing and everyone is enjoying the beautiful day with nature. Then when it's time to go they grab the blanket, give it a good shake to dump all the empty cans, paper plates and assorted trash onto the ground, hop back in the Caddy and drive away.

2:13 you are wrong. I have seen trach coming out of the windows of nice sedans, county vehicles, rock truck cabs, and a whole lot of dually pickups.
Solution = pick up the crap, put it in the bag and place it under the windshield wiper on the driver's side.

Barry, can you prove without reasonable doubt that the trash came out of the above vehicle, parts of it look like they have been ran over to me.
Every time I wanted to go to the water park as a youngster my father would say," You can't even swim around down there without getting some nigger pee or a mexican turd in your mouth." Has it gotten any better? My daughter has been begging me to take her. I promise I will properly dispose of my trash.
