Obammy wasn't born until 1961. So they say.

Shoot, drive down S Holman street. Decatur still has dirt streets. Thanks, Mayor Joe!

Was that the 'ole Green Law Office? You know, with the horse's ass?

:)

I wish we still had some of that left here. It's getting too annoyingly crowded/commercial.

This is what I like. The South Beach Taco neon sign makes me want to throw up when I look at our square.
(yes I realize Sweetie Pie's has one too, but I guess since it's on the corner it doesn't bother me as much)

Love this!

You must be part of the "Remember When.. in Decatur, TX" fb page. Lots of great memories discussed there! This picture was posted there and yes, that is the back end of a horse.

Were drugs and alcohol involved?

It's Obammy creating a shovel ready job.

Nope it looks like to me that’s Tom Bishop.

1:26, yes, we are looking north - right up Trinity Street. The intersection is of Trinity and Walnut.

Hey! There's a satellite dish on the top of that building just to left of that intersection!! Wow!

And one horse's butt to boot. Where's all the other ones?

Is this what you call a one horse town?

Wasn't there a Banjo sales outlet on the corner next to the Rexall store?

That is really cool!!! Thanks for sharing!

That is a horse, definitely. If it was a sheep you would see a young Rage standing behind it with a tall pair of rubber boots on.

That's not Brock in the red circle.

That's looking to the West. 1:52, hope you are kidding. That would be a windmill.

It is not me, but it may be the ....and the horse you rode in on.

Looks like TSP exposed himself. His anonymous posts talk about sheep. At least he's finally putting a name to them, though. Still a coward and a liar though.

Yes. That's looking north. 2:54, let folks from decatur answer those questions. Look at you out here in the big world all by yourself.

Is that dirt, or macadam? They didn't start using tar for a binder until the 1920's. This could easily be a shot from the early '30s.
