Why do we have this stupid picture back up for comments? I guess Barry thinks Obama is "the One" who will change the world as it should be. And he will decide what that is. Now is someone whose experience is in community organizing really believes he is our savior, we are in for a downfall.
The world is laughing at this man. Ever since he pulled ahead in the pre-election polls last fall the dollar has gone from a slide to a crash. It is declining sharply in overnight European markets. A hard rain is falling and most Americans have their heads buried in the sand. Folks, we need more stimuli so we can get this destruction over with.
I would like everyone to go back and remember what got us in this mess. It was THE COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT. Bush, supported by McCain and other Republicans, tried to pull the reins in on this one but were blocked by Democrats who were receiving heavy political donations from Fannie and Freddie. The result of the sub-prime lending is the destruction of the American economy and social experimentation by an idiot.
Look for much higher gasoline prices this week (hurry and fill your tank this morning) and remember that it takes oil to grow and transport meat and vegetables. Their price is heavily dependent on the price (including tax) of oil. A carbon tax, that Obama and Pelosi want, is not going to hurt Exxon but the poor family living in a mobile home in Wise County and eating hamburger? So Obama is not going to raise the tax on the little guy? I guess he can do it indirectly and not have to admit that "tax is tax" rather it comes in the form of income tax, food tax (aka carbor tax) or tax on fuel (aka carbon tax). I guess little guys don't eat any of the beef in any of the trucks that once more will be at Allups pumping that $4 per gallon diesel.
This is what happens when the public confuses voting for American Idol with voting for POTUS.
Crowley IS toasting. Look at the cuff of his shirt and jacket bellow the bottom of the mugs. The perspective is what makes it impossible for people, who do not look closely, to see the complete situation. Hmmmmm.....sounds quite a bit like life.

The arrest incident was "stupid". Both guys acted stupidly. The police report incorrectly stated that the perps were "black men." A whole bunch of noise ensued.
When the dust settled and all realized they were partly at fault, they sat down together and worked things out over a beer - after normal working hours. Gee, no one was killed. All seem to better understand each other. This may be a "learning experience" for them and all of us.
