I've never seen anything like it. We get a case of 9MM, gone that day. Likewise .380,.45,.40s&w,.223, etc. Crazy probably is the word for it.

Just as bad as this one is that nasty internet rumor about how the Obama administration wants citizens to report "fishy" blogs and e-mails that oppose the Obama healthcare plan to the White House. Oh, wait. (I forget...was Pol Pot on the ballot last November?)

People are still buying it as fast as they can. I have been to numerous stores in and around D/FW and they all say it's selling faster than they can stock it.

My heart skipped a bit before I read the Snopes reference.
Yeah.....I stocked up two years ago, via dad's orders. I'm glad I did.
Back in the run-up to the election, I got one of the countless fake blast emails criticizing Obama. A quick check on snopes revealed that it was a lie. When I replied to all the recipients of the original email - not just the right-wingnut who sent it to me - and provided a link to the snopes page debunking the email, I was shocked at how many sent blistering replies back to me, ranting that snopes is actually run by MoveOn.org, funded by Pelosi, etc. I think these are the same people now known as "birthers." There is some serious cognitive dissonance going on these days.

Gun stockpilers and ammo horders want the world to go "Mad Max" so bad. A bunch of them wanted it to do so for the year 2000. They were disappointed. you ammo stockpilers are the reason i can't enjoy shooting at clay targets at an organized shooting event(ATA). shotgun shell prices are outrageous, thanks to panick buying. now i have nothing to do on weekends but sit around & waste away waiting on socialized healthcare & the grim reaper.
maybe some of you should try shooting at clay targets to relieve some stress & take out some aggression that way. instead of venting against each other & obama. remember, alcohol & gunpowder do not mix!

20 or so Years from now, when a republican is finally elected president, remind me to buy stock in ammo and gun companies so I can cash in 4 years later when a democrat wins the office back.
