This whole blog thing seems to have taken a turn for the worse.

If President elect Hussein don't get us 12-21-12 will.

We're all doomed one way or another.

I wonder whose T-shirt Joe would "borrow"....

I'm sure she'll catch hell from the nitpickers for that, but she can just ignore the ground (crowd) noise and static.
you go, girl!

Ellen said...

Please tell me there are more college pictures of her french-kissing her pledge sisters near the keg. If so, she's got my vote!

You scumbags are really scraping the bottom of the barrel, aren't you?

If they are elected, and McCain dies in office (he's really, really old) and she becomes President...then I wonder how many months it'll take for her to run the country into the ground? My guess is less than three.

At least Bushy will no longer be the worst President.

Don't worry George W / McCain will make us "Flat Busted". Same dance ... different dress. That's all she is.

I guess you folks here in good ole Wise County have it so good that you want 4/8 more years of this Republican ideology.

Like she said .. you can put lipstick on a pig and guess what ??? It's still a pig. (or was that pit-bull ??) Whatever ...Once again America is wrong and Wise County is the smartest place on the planet. LOL

600 Thousand Americans out of work. Dont ya love it. You are lucky to be driving that rock truck.

I would lick her toes

No, wait I don't want to be on record saying that about our next V.P.

I would salute her and shake her hand?

I'm sure SlopJarlid and all the other racists posting on Barry's blog will really appreciate this one:

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination, as overhead by her server, Lucille, who is part Aboriginal.

Deplorable.

She will make a great VP.....of course I used to think that all of my sorority sisters would make great VP's. But then I started thinking....man can she spell potato? You gotta admit this is fun!

As I heard it said "Sara is the woman we secretly wished we had married and the woman we wish for our daughters togrow up to be". Now back to biz--Do you local tax payers know a certain local city department has turned a budget for new furniture . I guess the old stuff (2 yrs to be generous)is'nt up to snuff. The wood grains dont match , but 12,000 of your tax dollars for this fisc. yr and 10,000 for next yr (oct) should be just enough for the old building ! 2 yr old building that is. Where ol where are you tonight , why did you leave me here all alone . WAKE-UP its ONLY OUR hard earned tax dollar being wasted . Where are the SARA's of Wise county. I am corrosion of conformity and I approve this political messege. Thank you

Palin took eight years to earn a degree in journalism. That takes skill.

Republicans would think Charles Manson would be a great choice for Vice-President if he had been selected. The only criteria for Republican support, is to have a "R" at the end of their name. If McCain had picked Manson, pugs would be saying "pure genius" and "Manson has always been conservative" and "Manson can field dress his kills" and pug spin..spin..spin.. long as "R" is at the end. Palin was pretty much unkown, McCain had only personally known her for a few hours, and now...she is God!

Anonymous said...

And yes I would rather have 4- what the F-8 more years of the same old Bush , than 1 day of Obama's Marxism . Read the Communist Manifesto !

Anonymous said...

Al Gore flunked religion in college. That doesn't take skill.

Anonymous said...

Palin is an unfortunate joke. There are many more qualified governors and women available. This choice was totally political - was certainly not in the best interests of the United States. This will be shown over the next 60 days - if she lasts that long.

Anonymous said...

She is driving the left nuts which is so funny! The more the media and the left attacks her, the more doors the conservatives will knock on to GOTV!

Why can't small town folks go to Washington. Mr. Smith did!

And I love her guy. He did a great job introducing Cindy McCain at a luncheon the other day. Cindy doesn't have to check with him on what to wear.

Real men love her! And she is picking up more votes from men than women.

Oh, come on fellow blogists - this is a cute pic of a teen having a good time. What's the big deal?

If we look through our family albums we will see similar pictures. I think Sarah was just a normal teen who had enjoyable years being one.

And jar has changed his graphic again.

It is cuter than the last one which was totally "dead".

Good one, Jar!

Sarah's t-shirt reminds me of this:

My Mom once bought me a T Shirt that said "All This and Brains Too". That was when I was 15, and even back then, I had really big boobies.

I only wore it once, in the house, where no one could see. She had a t-shirt that said "A Woman's Place is in the House and in the Senate".

I put it on one time after I had been married for quite a while, and was the mother of a sweet little boy. My husband told me to take it off, and I did, and haven't worn it since. I eventually threw it away.

That's when I realized, quietly to myself, that my Mom was nothing more than an attention whore.

I'm going to vote for Obama.

I once had a T-Shirt that read, "I may be drunk, but you're ugly, and I'll be sober in the morning"!!

There's not one person who went to cllege or not, that hasn't worn a funny saying T-Shirt!! The one she is wearing is funny. The lady is
priceless and the Libs can't stand it!!

600 Thousand Americans out of work !!

It is .. what it is !!!!

Class warfare. The middle class is almost gone. Except in Wise County !! We are home to the rich rock haulers & ranchers who sold the mineral rights to the farm.

I am SOOOOO proud of the county !!!

Anonomous 5:39pm:

We all know that story is fabricated for several reasons.
1) The Democratic nomination race was truly over far before that time frame.
2) Sambo has some literary value while Obama does not.
3) She would not refer to Hillary in such terms because Hillary is unelectable an never was a threat, except to the zombies wooed by an empty talking head.
4) Neither character is worth mentioning, particularly where people are eating.

You are as sharp as the contributer voting based on a T shirt.

I think that this drill now woman can lower the price of gasoline. The congress is blocking drilling and that has had a major effect on gas prices, much more than a huricane taking out a few drilling platforms. Obama and the congress want to place additional taxes on the oil companies. How stupid. As Fred Thompson said, it does not matter which side of the water bucket you dip out of, it will still have the same effect. Raise the taxes on business and they will pass the expense on to the poor of Wise County who just make it on their low salaries. If you think Obama and his congress are going to raise taxes on Exxon and they are not going to raise the price at the pump, you need a new brain.

DRILL NOW will have a two fold positive effect. One, it will decrease the price of a barrel of oil and decrease the price at the pump. And two, there will be a better balance of trade and fewer American dollars flowing to those in the Arab world who despise us. Get rid of the Democrats and help America. Oh, there is a third positive effect. The new drilling platforms off Flordia will increase the fish population. I like to fish around the rigs.

Hey 10:00, the fault is with the Democrat Congress and their lack of legislation to stop the invasion. Here is a link to the real answer for the 6% unemployment rate. I bet your house was built by illegals who took the jobs from American construction workers. You and all the other selfish materalistic people who live in your McMansions built by illegal Mexicans are the reason for the unemployment rate.

It you will enroll in a government class at Weatherford, you might learn how our government works and who makes the laws in America. Then you should be informed and stop pointing at the president.

Cut and paste this link in your address bar to get the answer:

5:39 Are you mentally retarded?

That's a retorical question as it were.

I mean really, I'm all for intellectually diabled people expressing themselves but, with supervision. If you believe any of what you posted I need you to know there are bad people in the world and you shouldn't talk to strangers on the internet.

Now, get your hands out of your diaper and go ask your guardian for some cookies and milk and to give you an extra Thorazine and give it a little early- it's ok I'm a doctor.

5:33 says,"600 Thousand Americans out of work. Dont ya love it. You are lucky to be driving that rock truck."

Mongo, I've said it before, I'll say it again. In the US economy it's nearly impossible to get the unemployment rate much under 5%. It's 6.1 right now, I hate that as bad as anybody but it can (and will I'll bet)turn right around. Investors/manufacturers are cautious because of what they know Obama if he is elected will do to them. The economy WILL perk right up if McCain is elected.

You won't agree but, it's the truth. You read it here first.

The following vignette illustrates as well as any the reason behind the numbers in our economy. Please note specifically the reason the gooberhead left his job.

"At a job center in Los Angeles on Friday, July Alas said he had not been able to find steady work since he left a plumbing job two months ago because he couldn't get along with his boss. He said his mother was helping him out financially, but he's had to stop going to movies and couldn't afford to buy things he'd like, including a couch and TV set.

"It's been pretty rough -- you're limited in what you're able to buy and you can't go out as much, which affects everything else," Alas said. "I'm making it only because of my mom. It seems like a lot of young adults these days are having to fall back onto their parents and rely on their support."

If they required people to pass an IQ test before they were allowed to vote McCain would win by a land slide.

Dem controlled Congress? Barely Dem controlled Congress. What about 7 years of total Republican President and Congress? Oh, I see, it was the slight Dem majority of a slight year that caused the Country Downfall. Uh, how many times did the RNC mention Cheney and Bush, Rove, Card, Miers, Etc.? Not very many. Don't you Republicans remember when in 2000 the Bush Killer Smear Machine made POW (I have just heard he was a POW a few minutes ago) McCain was brain-washed, flash tempered, unfit for Prez, etc. and now all of a sudden he is?
If McCain had been elected in 2000, I would have felt we had a real President, instead of a phony media made unqualified one like Bush. I guess Palin is just as or more qualified than Bush to serve in the Whitehouse. Republicans don't care about qualifications as long as it is Republican standards.
Ha Ha. Republicanism is a big Joke on America! Most Americans that vote Republican, talke Republican, think they are Republican are Democrats and don't even know it.

Enthusiastic Republicans don’t see the choice of Palin as affirmative action, despite her thin résumé and gaping absence of foreign policy knowledge. They have a tradition of nominating fun, bantamweight cheerleaders like the
previous Miss Congeniality types Quayle and W., and then letting them learn on the job. So they crash into the globe a few times while they’re learning to drive,
what’s the big deal?

NEWSFLASH: I just heard this from a waiter at Denny's who is one-quarter gay: While Obama and Biden were eating breakfast on Friday morning, Obama said "That old honkey and his crazy ass ho can kiss my black ass." To which Biden replied, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

2) Blame the lazy ethnic group

3) Blame the Homosexuals

4) Blame the Democrats

5) Blame the Unions

6) Play the Christan Card

7) Play the Gun Control Card

8) Play the Baby Killer Card

9) Play the "Hey Know" Card (New card ... )

10) Play the Terror Card.

Play the dumb-ass Wise County Card (That's You). America will believe anything you tell them. Just keep repeating ...

Republicans steal every chance they get. An election here, election there, music here song there.....

Not Palin Fans
Heart
The rock group Heart, angry that its 70's hit "Barracuda" is being used as the unofficial theme song for Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin, is biting back at the Alaska governor.

The song, a nod to the "Sarah Barracuda" nickname Palin earned on the basketball court in high school, was dusted off for her appearance at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul on Wednesday.

Heart singers Ann and Nancy Wilson said a "cease-and-desist" letter has been sent to the Republicans asking them not to use the song.

"The Republican campaign did not ask for permission to use the song, nor would they have been granted that permission," according to a statement issued late on Thursday on behalf of the sisters.

ok 952 here's your answer to the drilling equipment ?...drilling in places like alaska and artic areas require very specialized machinery capable of performing in extreme cold temps year round..this would require lots of new rig manufacturing designed for this specific type of drilling machinery, thus creating new jobs and residuals also...plus we would have new sources of oil and gas..win win..!!!

Anonymous said...

9:52 anything that could/should be in ANWR. Anything that could/should be operating in the 'forbidden zones' offshore.

Even more problematic are the lost opportunities such as thousands of jobs that could be created to design and build NEW rigs.

Anyway, there are idle units scattered all across this country. My bud travelled 80,000 miles last year to demonstrate and close sales on all types of rigs (mostly land) and is in Dakota today.

I got 367,000 results for oil rig sales in the US with a quick search.

If you are local- The world is bigger than Wise County little friend.

Sorry jar, but no one in the oil industry claims that more drilling would have any real affect on the price of oil. The world wide demand establishes the price. As pointed out above, there is a long lead time in designing and building new drilling rigs for artic and off shore drilling. And when that is accomplished - some 5 to 10 years down the road - the new production will still be a drop in the bucket of our current demand.

Maybe some of you "experts" should listen to Boone Pickens. He says developing alternates to oil is our only real answer.
