It wouldnt surprise me if a Home Depot was put in over there. After all that is where Lowes is and you know the two go hand in hand. New movies...awesome. On the Border would be cool but it will just be over crowded like Chili's.
What we REALLY NEED is a CVS, Walgreen (Target Pharmacy) or some business that is interested in filling prescriptions in a TIMELY and cost effective way! Also, how come Kroger is Fry's Food Stores in Arizona? I saved a Fry's empty buttermilk from Phoenix and plan to take it to that store in Arlington and see if they can exchange it?
Wouldn't it just be crazy if someone would build a huge roller coaster that would go around Decatur then make a tight spiral around the Courthouse hitting 2.5g's then a forward thrusting motion back to the starting point at K-Bobs parking lot.
Dont hold your breath folks! They will probably just put in a nice dollar tree or something more appealing to the taste of wise county. If were lucky they might even put in a Wendys or something fancy like that.
If Decatur is good enough for Arby's, it's good enough for Wendy's! Eventually they will build so many new restaurants (fast food included) it won't be such a novelty when they open, and valet parking will be a thing of the past on opening day.

Don't you know the chamber was downtown last night meeting for the next great idea? HEY, they've come up with the idea of a new BANK, CAR WASH, or another novel idea, A MOTEL! Geesh, after all, it's prime real estate, can't let something like a grocery store, Walgreens, or Target get any! GET REAL PEOPLE, it's a lost cause.

Any fast food place that is built will be just like all the others...only local folks will run them and they all "graduated" from the same Fast food managemnet school. Besides, now that the high school has moved, building all these places around FM 51 will only make the traffic worse, as long as the kiddos have an open campus.
