Wow, isn't it sad that this is so remarkable? What a awesome story...and I agree, that comes from good character...something you sadly do not see enough these days, especially in professional sports, money means too much.
I suspect in their old age the players from this Central Washington team will remember this loss more fondly and with more pride than any win they ever achieved.

After crossing homeplate, they all got naked and jumped in a pile, as softball players are prone to do.
