Wow. Beautiful. Where is black creek lake, again?
If you go , go to the back side. You can drink a beer , build a fire , pitch a tent , catch a fish , catch a snake , and kick your ole ladies arse without paying the 2 dollar a day fee.
Methodist like to gather there for a cookout on the weekends and whack a Banjo or somethin.
North of Decatur, on government land. And it IS a beautiful little lake, but do beware the cottonmouths.
just head north out of decatur on 730 and follow the signs. it kinda sucks in the summer cause there are like a million screaming hillbilly and mexican kids.but in the fall and winter when the traffic fades away it's pretty nice.
Can the shutterbug who took this please let us know what kinda camera they be usin'?
A great place on weekends if you like water and motorcycle gangs.Barry, you better at least ride your skooter and wear your leather swim trunks when you decide to go.
DO NOT GO THERE, IT IS DANGEROUS!!! The lake is FULL OF POISONOUS SNAKES, COVERED IN MOSS, SURROUNDED BY DRUGGIES, and TRASHED EVERY WEEKEND by the MERTOMESS MONSTERS and their HORSES!!! It also STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN!! DO NOT get caught there AFTER DARK!!!
It has been re-named African-American Creek Lake.
I know of at least one decatur high-school chick who lost her viginity there...hard.
To Annie Jokely, Let's put it this way, You invite me to your home for dinner and you prepare me the best meal that you have ever cooked in your life, I eat the meal, then start telling you how good it was and just go on and on about it,BUT just before I leave to go home, I ask you, "Oh by the way, what kind of cook stove do you use, it sure does make some good meals!!! LOL!!! I get that quite a bit though. Now to answer your question. That pic was taken with an ALMOST 8yr. old Canon G2 with only 4 megapixels, back in it's day, it was a pretty high end camera. I have 5 cameras that I use, (Nikon and Canon) (Ford/Chevrolet) (Coke/Pepsi)because each one is unique in it's own way. Those that I have go from 4 to 10mp. I do a lot of photography, but just because that little G2 is old and worn out, it does'nt collect any dust!! I was checking in recently to buying a used one and they are still out there,$150-200, in 2000, it was $999, depreciation?? Kinda like cars, furniture, etc. Being the smart a$$ that I am, the old saying, (it's not the gun that counts, it's the gunner!!)LOL!!! Thank's for asking and THANKS to ALL of you on here for the compliments!! A special Thank You to Barry for LETTING me share and for this blog, I really enjoy it!!
