A fence gets knocked down in the Brookhollow area in Decatur! Man describes how a street was underwater. She said, "It looked like an ocean" And fence destruction was not limited to Decatur. This fence met its maker in Rhome.

The fancy digital rain gauge we got for Christmas read 5.96 inches. (South of town on FM 51.)

Yea, a little over-reaction, but then again, we aren't used to this type of weather, we over-react the same way to snow & ice.
I am enjoying this spring/summer so much more than last year's searing heat, drought & wildfires.
lest we not forget the ones who were killed because of the floods aleady
Was that Mrs. Rieger?
Yes - that was Sally. Sadly the weather made her hair fall.
I live in Brookhollow and my rain gauge said 6.50 inches of rain.
