Score one for the American people. Talk show audiences flooded the phones of congress to let them know how idiotic Ted Kennedy's backroom deal is. We let it be known that we cannot afford trillions of dollars in entitlements for people that break our laws. If they want in, let them get at the back of the line like law abiding immigrants. If we can secure area 51, why can't we secure our borders?

Put employers that hire them in prison for 25 years! Fine people that rent, sell groceries, gas, medicine, toilet paper to illegals 2.2 million dollars! This is some of the solutions to illegal immigration. If this can't stop it, let the MinuteMen just start shooting them! This is what they want to do anyway, and killing all illegal men, women, and children should definitely be a deterrent to illegal immigration. After all, we all want it stopped. At any cost.
8:20, Are you really a dipshit or do you just play one on this blog. Drudge only links to ALL news outlets and does not opine on them. We read them and come to our own conclusions. The reason immigration is a hot topic right now is because Bush and Kennedy tried to sneak this through without going to committee and being debated and 80% of the American people didn't fall for it. Do you remember a couple of weeks ago when a lawyer was allowed to travel while having uncurable TB and the uproar that ensued? Now just think about all those illegals that may be carrying it or some other God forsaken disease that we don't even know about. I am sure you lock your doors when you leave your house, so why can't we lock down our borders? All we are asking for is enforcement of the existing laws.

We need law and order. We need to enforce the current laws. Well, can you answer why Mr. Bush has been so inept at doing his job - for example - border security? Why do you expect employers or landlords or grocery store clerks to identify illegal if our police and border security can't seem to identify them? And deal with them once identified?
Well, there are more than 12,000,000 illegal here already. Coming up with an intelligent plan to deal with them and the millions still on their way is pretty challenging.
