This gets even more confusing due to the "8.36" which should read "836".

Anyway, 836.00 feet - 835.29 feet = .71 feet.

I think you are miss-reading it. The lake is up since Wednesday, but still stands 3/4 of an inch low.

1:08 - you just completely missed the point. The article misplaced the decimal when stating the normal pool level is 836 feet. Then it confuses 3/4 inch with 3/4 foot. There - is that any more clear? Doesn't matter anymore as the lake is now up to 836 - and still climbing.
