over 100 killed in April alone, our flags should be perpetually at half mast. If that photo doesn't bring you to your kness you don't have a heart.

As the mother of a Marine, I grieve for them. I still feel proud my son is a Marine and agree with the wife's comments.

That photo is like a stab right in the heart. Why? Why? Why?

So true m&m - a young precious family torn from their loved one.

Have we really been given the truth for this war?

I hope that thought never crosses the mind of this American family.

What did Iraq do to threaten our freedom?

My dad is a Marine, & I am very proud to say that.
Thank you to everyone serving.

I served during Viet Nam. Soldiers should be honored for their commitment. The government must deploy these soldiers only when all other means of defense of our country are exhausted. This little man is now fatherless due to some very stupid actions of our government and military leaders.

Barry,

I am the wife of a Sheriff's Deputy here in Wise County. My husband sent me a copy of an e-mail regarding this post "No Words". The e-mail was from Sheriff David Walker to his staff on what we all take for granted. I want to send it in to the BLOG, but I do not know if the Sheriff would appreciate it. I know you and the Sheriff are friends, see if he will send you one for the BLOG.....very good e-mail

This picture along with this very sad story should be plastered in every hallway, on every office door, and on each office desk for each and every elected official in America forever.

Make that TWO for each in the White House just so Mr. Bush doesn't forget what he has taken away from the families, friends, loved ones of our country.

His father is a true hero. How many fathers would give their life for his child and countries freedom?

2:45 - millions of citizens are and have served in our military forces. By far most are patriotic and would do whatever they could to protect this country - including giving their lives. It is therefore incumbent upon our leaders to only deploy them when it is absolutely necessary. To frivolously send them into Iraq under false pretenses is criminal. One day these soldiers may get their reward when the Bush bumblers and idiots are held accountable for taking these patriotic soldiers' lives.

"Some gave all, all gave some". Billy Ray must have predicted the song 15 years ago.
