He was one of the finest men I have ever known. He had a good judicial temperament and a great sense of humor. We have been blessed with some really great District Judges in Wise County and he is certainly someone that we will miss.

The man will always be a "LEGEND" for Jack and Wise County. It was always an honor to testify in his court and watch his calm decisions during heated cases. I could not have presided over the thousands of divorce and felony cases and kept that composure, he's got two pages in the Wise County history book.

I had HUGE respect for Judge Lindsey. Just being in that courtroom when he was presiding brought honor to the legal system. He will be missed in so many ways.

Carl "Rook" Ramsey and John Lindsey, THANK YA'LL. Growing up used to be fun, we used to be scared of justice. "Leather Belts" should still be used instead of "D-HALL.

"Red the ass, ass won't be be back"... 1976, (Ramsey quote for a future Novel of "Life and Times of Wise County Law Enforcement).
