. . . but this reporter might make me change my mind. (Discovered her today when she was recognized for her beauty although I'm sure she does fine work).
But she's no Helen Thomas.
WOW! Absolutely fabulous! A beautiful well educated woman on television who, despite the assumptions of a few, more than likely has quite a bit of integrity.
Ever notice how all the TV women announcers are real babes but the guys vary from hot to very uncool? The onlyest ugly woman on the cable channels is the financial analyst from Frankfurt, Germany. She knows her stuff but wouldn't have a chance on American TV.
And have you noticed the huge amount of collagen in female reporters' lips? It's just so distracting that I sometimes don't hear what they're misstating.
I agree with 11:15. If you're a woman and want a TV announcing job, you'd better be 25 to 35 years old and a knock-out. They must screen them out in broadcasting school. Real lookers to TV and dogs to off-camera jobs. No so true for the guys. Seems to be a double standard here.
Walters and Compton aren't bad (for their age) - but they made their mark years ago. Walters might not make it in today's world. Compton's competent and still not bad looking. But if you're a female and not a model-type beauty, don't expect a major TV job today.

I'm impressed Barry. You think she's hot and she doesn't have BIG BOOBIES.
And she has brains. Meaning she is on the right side.
Helen Thomas rules.
That woman may be pretty but she can't have much in the brains or integrity department.
You evidently didn't read her bio, Tweedle Dee. Helen Thomas rules the Geritol crowd.

You might want to back off the statement that all women TV announcers are real babes.
Have you checked our female Fox News desk lady, Harris Faulkner? Have not seen such a beautiful lady in quite some time.

Barbara Walters, what a babe! Ann Compton, smokin hot! Greta Ven Sustren, hot tomato!
