This is from a 20/20 segment in 1984. It's still shocking.

End result: the wrestler gets kicked out of the business by Vince McMahon & Stossel gets a few hundred thousand dollars in compensation. Tough guy: yes. Smart guy: not so much.
And what John Stossel should do is, now that that idiot is 23 years older and his body probably totally cracked up from all the steroids; is to find him and kick his ass.
Holy cow! What an *ss....poor Stossel...I like him. Getting biffed upside the head holds more humiliation than pain, I'd warrant. I like what the last anon said--find the deflated guy and ask him to "rephrase" his answer there, John!
Yes, one of the FEW media people I like--heck sometimes he even attacks the MEDIA for being so stupid, which he did once on one of his "Give Me a Break" segments!! He is one of the few to look beyond "political correctness", and just comment on what is in front of him--something so much of our present-day media finds impossible to do.

Did that happen in Wise County?
Is that considered insane, cruelty to a reporter, or just entertainment?
