That allegation could certainly hurt his second job.

Why wasn't Mike Tirico fired for the same thing?

"I've learned, through the perspective Christianity has given me, to always look for the good in an athlete and in a person."

That's a quote from the link you gave us. He was just looking for the good in her! Or maybe his goods...

Well, God is responsibe, indeed has pre-ordained...everything. Not just good stuff, but bad. So, believers, you MUST believe that God at some point sat on his throne and said, "OK, part of my big plan is to have this guy Harold Reynolds...who will be born in a few billion years...do something inappropriate". How can you believe in God and prayer and the Bible and NOT believe in that. Or that God doesn't cause wrecks. Or that God is responsible for the rain or lack thereof. Or that God worked a miracle in little Johnny's cancer. etc.

Does he not get a trial?

4:16 You are sooooo wrong,God does not cause anything bad, you do he gave you a will, a choice, you made that choice to drink that 12 pack and drive and knowing full well you could kill someone, dont say God made you do it,thats just totally wrong, I really feel sorry for you.

Gosh, whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Just because he was accused doesn't mean he's guilty. If he is, he deserves to lose his job, I'm not defending him, but isn't it still alleged sexual harassment at this point? I'll bet Barry would hate having some of you as prospective jurors!

4:16 you need to open up the Bible and do a little reading. It was a perfect world until Adam ate from the forbidden tree. That was the beginning of sin and it was done my man. Sin still exixts today luckily for all of us God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross so that we may have eternal life. God doesn't make us sin. We do that on our own. He didn't force Adam to eat the apple.

It must not have been a perfect world if there was temptation. Did God purposely put the apple tree there to cause temptation knowing that it would be the beginning of the gigantic rolling snowball down the hill of sin? Mybe God just wanted to create jobs for evangelists.

9:31 Who created you? You will, without a doubt, bow on your knees, and confess Jesus Christ as Lord, God did predestine this. Mark not my word, mark God's, it will come to pass, whether you like it or not, you will do this in the end. So have fun,as you call it, and think about it or not, your choice-(which God gave you)

9:31 The choice you make will determine where you will spend E T E R N I T Y, which is for ever and ever and ever. Will you remember the things you have done here on earth after your dead ? No. Will you remember the good things you did for God? Don't know, but I do know this, God will remember all things you have done.

I'm sorry for those of you who define and design your (not you're) whole life around some spooky dictates of an ancient collection of fairy tales. Do what you like, but leave the rest of us who just try to do the right, the moral thing at each opportunity without fear of some supernatural judge.

Anonymous said...

10:41 perhaps you should fear! The ultimate judge is far from Supernatural. I hope to hear "Good job, my good and faithful servant." Those who don't believe will hear, "Depart from me" and be sent to the pit of hell.

Geezzzzzz, why don't you proselytizers create your own blog and convert each other.

We have and we keep getting people on there who want to curse, and blasphem God, and argue about war, gas prices ect.. Sound familiar?

Hope and Christian, I think your Righteous eagerness caused you to read a little more in my comment than was actually there. I never mentioned "fun as you call it" or
anything questioning God's will, E T E R N I TY, who created me, whether I will remember the things done on earth after I am dead, or bowing on my knees and
confessing Jesus as Lord (you don't know if I have or not). In fact, some of the stuff
ya'll came up with I do not know how you conjured it up from the comment. I made a comment that maybe it wasn't a perfect world Adam and Eve lived in if temptation existed. And God planned it that way to start the sin Holy roller coaster? Why? So churches could have somebody to save from their sins? Knee jerk reactionaries can trigger themselves into preaching mode on short notice I supppose.

Yep instant in season out of season as the good book says. You are right on its not a perfect world, God gave Adam one command, not hard, dont eat of this tree, and he did. Because God gave him a will, a choice, just like he does us. His purpose was to send his Son, and for us to love him and obey him. Those who are in Christ Will go on to Heaven. The way you put things it sounds like you have a problem with the word of God or something of that nature.
