I wish they could rescue those poor animals. We are a type of animal, and an animal is an animal is an animal.
I surprised that we don't have PETA or some other whacko group screaming how Bush doesn't like animals, or the government hasn't failed them.

This is sooooooo sad. All of it. The people - the animals - it breaks my heart.
I look at those hungry dogs the same as I would look at a hungry person. I think it is a disgrace that the evacuees weren't allowed to take their pets. We need to rescue these pets the same as the people!
I know that they would have to fight me if they wanted me to leave my animals. They are a part of the entire family. I think that it is horrible!

I am anon #1 and appologize for my miss wording. I am not deffending myself. My point was that I wish they could do more to save the animals. I do think they are doing a great job saving all the people......just my opinion.

My thought was at the time,,,,,,,,, that we were an animal, in the image of God but still an animal. But we were of course smarter. Obviously I was wrong on that so please disregaurd that statement. My point was is that I wish they could do more for the animals. It is probably not possible to do so, but everyone can hope and pray. Sorry for the misunderstating
