. . . he's going to be a little late. This happened a second ago on 380 and (I'm guessing) at the 287 intersection with the half cloverleaf. Trucks used to lose it there all the time. (Thanks, Brian.)

I bet he took that corner hard with a load of frozen Weiners.
Dang stupid tea-sips! Don't even know how to drive around a corner.
Seriously though--any engineer who lays out a curve in a road which has a decreasing radius (a curve that gets tighter AFTER you enter into it) should be shot. Absolutely violates safety common sense 101. Obviously an engineering degree doesn't require that course.
2:05, I believe what you describe is called a "spiral turn".... I know it is illegal to have those as exits on interstates. I guess because 287 isn't an interstate, then we are all expendible. State really should be made to fix these.
12:19 Straight through and straight as an arrow are not the same description. Straight through is referring to the time you drove (without any stops) and straight as a arrow describes the path you took. If you drove straight through Arkansas on a path that was straight as an arrow, You made no stops or turns. Why so defensive? Are you being accused of not being straight?
it is simple everyone that lives around here knows that you must slow down for that turn so you dont roll your vehicle. i wonder if this guy drove for coffman before becoming an over the road. btw it is so easy to follow the slow down dont roll that a chico grad or an aggie could do it unlike the t-sipper
double fake coffman driver crap just ran over a car gotta stop texting and drive
There is A LOT of traffic that takes those exits that have never seen them before. Its not about just knowing better. Its about a good design.
Said it before and will say it again, when Rhome, Haslet, Alvord, Sunset, Bowie, etc. all have better exits and entrances than Decatur onto 287 then something is wrong.

Somebody sawed em off!
Where did the term "straight as an arrow' come from?
It takes a professional to completely ignore the massive signage that warns drivers about the hard turn.
Dammit! That's my first load of mavs championship tees. Barry I was going to give you the first one.
Why don't they redesign that intersection?
11:34
Is it not obvious? You have asked this question twice now. I would think that the meaning is clear.
"Right turn, Clyde".

12:05, Would I be wrong if I said I drove straight through Arkansas?
11:34 lemme guess. You were home schooled by mzchf right? idiot.
12:02, Why don't they fire the idiot that designed it the first time?
Where is Tom Bishop? why did this have to happen he could have stopped him for speeding. the highway popo needs his help so does the city of Decatur.

12:22, Wrong. I kouldn't aford the tuition so I had to settle for a free public education.
Very poor design for these exits! Design engineers should be the ones held accountable for the ridiculous tight turns.
TxDot will not redesign the interchange because Devon doesn't have a office location close to it.
Do you think 12:59 sits on the front pew?
12:59
I AGREE!!!! most of Decatur is layed out like a 1st grader did it!!
How about follow the rules and everything goes better?
