Roe v. Wade Did Happen, Didn't It?

An email that Rep. Phil King is sending out.  Uh, doesn't Planned Parenthood provide services that have nothing to do with abortion? Aren't those services primarily for the poor?

And who is in that picture? The Mormon Tabernacle Choir?

(Legal issues here -- looks like Indiana has more Phil Kings than Texas since they did it first.)

This Weiner thing's gonna leave a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths before it's over.

The clock is ticking on Weiner.

Why not let liberal weenie organizations fund abortions instead of every tax payer? If that it is such a keystone part of your party's platform, then have at it because personally I don't like paying to taxes so that an innocent infant can be murdered.

Roe v. Wade (I believe mistakenly) said that abortion was protected by the Constitution, following the Due Process clause of the 14th amendment.

It said nothing about forcing the government to pay for it.

Except in the horrible circumstances of criminal activity, it would seem one way for a woman to not have to worry about this is to just not get pregnant. A radical and unpopular sentiment, I guess.

@12:21 If your momma never told you, then it's probably too late now.

But in the famous words of Nathan Arizona, "Eight hundred leaf-tables and no chairs? You can't sell leaf-tables and no chairs. Chairs, you got a dinette set. No chairs, you got dick!"

I have always been pro Roe, in Roe vs. Wade. Why wade, you have to buy waders and run the risk of tripping in the water and getting all wet. I prefer to roe my kayak or canoe and stay nice and dry!

The civil war did happen. Right?
The holocaust did happen nright?
Segregation did happen. Right?
Etc.etc.

Texans should be able to decide to fund or not to fund abortions with our taxdollars as our AG has rule.

Phil King should also make sure NO funds go to medicaid recpients to fund OxyCoton abuse. Precription drug abuse in Medicaid and Medicare is a growing national problem.

More balance among the conservatives in addressing other important issues other than "pro life" abortion would increase voter support in the 2012 election.

Planned Parenthood offices have become no more than taxpayer funded abortion parlors. Any other services offered are menial.

How are you supposed to enter the gates of the "King Kompound" without getting shot? Phil King reminds me of Alby Grant on the series Big Love.

Conservatives do not want taxpayer money to go to planned parenthood because of abortion/murdering child issue. Regardless of other things planned parenthood does, conservatives do not want taxpayer money to take care of them, if not aborted, after they are born. Conservative high moral values. Stop the abortion, to hell with'em after they are born. They are on their own then. At least maybe that extra money can be used for tax cuts. For the well to do.

I was anti abortion until I started to watch Maury. It changed my view..

11:55 You are wrong about your opinion we do care about them after they are born. That is why we fight for them to be born no one has a right to take the life of an unborn child, and if you don't want them give them up for adoption,I know lots of parents who have adopted and want to adopt. It's not always about money it's about morals.

For the uninformed, it is against the law for federal money to be used for abortion. Right wingers like to infer that planned parenthood gives abortions with federal money, doesn't happen, against the law. Planned parenthood helps families in lots of ways, abortion counseling is 5% of what they do. A noted Repub. Senator had to correct himself for saying it was 90%, remember?
I have a suggestion, all pro life/anti abortion folks should register as such. Every time some woman wants an abortion we draw a name from the registered folks and they get to adopt the baby, pay all pre-natal expenses, raise the kid, send it to college and insure it becomes a productive, taxpaying citizen. Thus assuring that unwanted child doesn't grow up to be a welfare burden on the rest of us.

They shouldn't get pregnant to start with if they don't want the responsability. REALLY!!! that is what is wrong with America some of them think like you!!

I personally think we should abort all poor people, I am allergic to them anyway!

I agree, they shouldn’t get pregnant to start with, soooo….let’s see how we solve that problem. We could start with a comprehensive sex education program in our public schools, have every person under 18 sign an abstinence promise and stick to it, eliminate the poverty that puts young girls in prostitution, jail every male predator that takes advantage women, make sure no college student gets drunk at a party, make sure every unmarried person carries a condom and uses it, convince the Catholic Church that contraception is okay, come up with a vaccination that will make teenager’s willpower stronger than their hormones….that’s just a few things for starters. Why don’t we put you in charge of making this happen, seriously, I would vote for that.

I can't wait for these new laws to be implemented!! If it wasn't for Roe vs Wade us liberals would so be in charge now! Really we would own Texas!!! The problem with Texas is we have aborted all the liberals kids! Give us 18 years without abortion and Texas will be held by the democrats!

Uncle Wally, You must not be from Wise County as your level of awareness is unknown around here. Do you actually think any of these anti-abortion folks ever actually consider the consequences of their actions? We just get more unwanted children condemned to ignorant single-parent (at best) living arrangements subsisting on meager welfare payments.
